That is a serious drain to bring it down to 0.1 or 0.0 volts overnight. Something is intermittently not shutting down normally. Congrats to the dealer for figuring out your battery isn't the issue. Now they need to find the real issue. Good luck and I hope they can figure it out. Although...
So mine failed due to the water leaking severely during Hurricane Milton. I left it outside in the driveway. In the morning the RF hub was dead. None of it was covered under warranty. So the hub and cables, moldy wet carpet, the back window. Around $4000 worth. I made an insurance claim...
I have the factory power steps on mine. They have been good up until last week. The driver side step needs a new motor and hinge in the forward part. It makes a horrible noise and vibration when deploying. I have disabled them temporarily in the UConnect settings. It is covered under my...
If the dealer can associate the RF hub failure to water intrusion, then you may want to consider using your auto insurance to cover it. That's what I did and it carried a $100 deductible. Way cheaper than $1300. And you will need to replace the back glass OR some have used some kind of...
Is this another name for the RF module? If it is, know that most if not all of these fail due to water intrusion through the back glass or CHMSL. Just alerting you.
That is correct. The auto sensing setting replaces the manual intermittent ones. The intermittent settings become the sensitivity of the auto sensing feature.
Certainly you could forego the auto feature (if equipped) for manual intermittent. I find the auto sensing works pretty well.
There is a Body Control Module (BCM) that I think may control all the lights. I had one fail for me where the DRLs on one side and the fog light on that side wouldn't work. They replaced the headlight assembly and the foglight (all LED) and the problem persisted. They then went to the BCM and...
My mistake. You are right it is a CR2450. Because my window was leaking long term, the cabling and connectors to the RF Hub were corroded and needed replacement. But mine failing was more catastrophic. When it failed, everything associated with it failed. Couldn't open doors, tailgate...
Do you have a second key fob? You could try that one. Otherwise it is a CR2032 battery. Many 2019 owners have had trouble with the leaking rear window (me included) causing damage to the RF hub that controls comm between the fob and the vehicle causing starting issues. Does yours leak?
This does sound like battery in fob could be weak or near death. The battery is very easy to change. This video describes it:
Battery Install
It is a CR2032. All the issues you describe are indicative of the battery in your FOB. Especially when it won't start without touching the fob to the...
You have to call AT&T and set up your vehicle plan with them. I know it was $10+++ to add it to my AT&T account when I had them as a cell phone carrier. When I switched to T-Mobile I closed that account so I no longer have the vehicle hotspot. I don't miss it. It was unreliable at best. I...
It would be nice if there was a message to tell you why it didn't remote start. Sometimes it will show a message (see below). There are multiple conditions that will affect the ability to remote start. One is definitely available voltage. Another is if there is an active CEL. Although with...
While visiting and driving in Italy I was sure there was no way I could drive my RAM on the Italian roads. Especially in the city. I saw no US made pick-up trucks on the road whatsoever. And I was looking. Am I off-base here?
Are you sure your damage from a water leak carries a $1000 deductible? That sounds more like a collision coverage deductible. Mine was $100 because the damage was a result of a window.
I have done two batteries on mine. I wouldn't bother with trying to avoid losing power. The vehicle will recover just fine if you do it the way I said.
