    Chirping over bumps

I once chased a chirp sound around for quite awhile a few years ago. Practically tore out the whole front end looking for it. Turns out it was the spare tire bouncing around in the back a little because it lost some air pressure over time.

    Should i buy another dodge

For the most part all 3 Ford, GM and RAM make a good truck. All three have some evil ones out there. My 09 Silverado was "one of those trucks." I think you have to look at the dealership where you make your purchase. Some are better suited to service the cars and trucks they sell. They have...

    How to rotate my tires?

I've found that the front tires wear thru the tread faster because they are doing all the steering and most of the stopping. That's the reason for rotating them. Before radial tires you criss crossed them front to back and left to right. Now that we all run on radial tires for the most part...

Battery Tender recommendation for our trucks?...

The Coco 5amp has a setting for regular lead batteries, AGM and Lithium. It seems to a good all around charger from mu experience. I live in a small town, so I don't have to drive great distances as in a larger city so I use this charger once a month to freshen up the battery.

Battery Tender recommendation for our trucks?...

I use the same charger as Brutal_HO for several years now. An awesome charger. Pretty much does it all. As the battery gets fully charged it will drop down to a maintainer mode. Charges all modes of batteries found in the automotive applications. I use their 1 amp charger on my Harley when...

Which setup for best MPG on the Hemi

I have a 19 Laramie 4 x 4 with a 3.92 rear end. I ordered it that way on purpose. What I have found there is less gear shifting with the 3.92 when you are cruising down the highway, it stays in 8th gear most of the time when driving thru the rolling hills here in the midwest. When it does...

    REVERSE AUX LIGHTING

I used the same lights as you 3 years ago, still going strong. Only difference is I took the connection from the Kurt plug from the back side of the trailer plug so as not to cut into anything OEM. I did use some Posi-lock connectors I got from Amazon, Di electric greased all the connections...

    Has anyone used this product?

At least you won't leave it down and drive too far. Not that I have ever done that with the bed step.o_O

    Noise in rear

Check to see if the spare tire is snugged up tight and fully inflated.

    Funny Little Heart Attack

It's up to you, but, I would definitely spit out the gel before you get in the truck the next time. Or swallow it, pride and all.

    Dealer refusing work

Consider yourself fortunate, you found a deadbeat service department before you jumped off on the deep end with them. Move on and find some professionals with ability to do the job, they are out there.

    First Time Trailer Launch

You can. I just go as easy as I can until I have to push it on the rare occasion when I have to.

    First Time Trailer Launch

Just stop and hold it with the brake, shift into neutral, shift to 4 auto, back into drive and off you go. You just aren't pulling that much weight. Another thing you can do is add some "rods" with flags on them tall enough to get above the tail gate so you know where the back corner of the...

    First Time Trailer Launch

Do not get in a hurry. When you launch the jet ski, pay attention to where to water is to a reference point (you chose what works for you) on the trailer so you know how far to back in into the water. What the surface and condition of the ramp is will determine to some extent what drive you...

Any Ram Care folks still on this forum?

Go into your radio, you can change it from instant to 30 seconds, 10 minutes etc. It shuts off as soon as you open the door though. Where in the radio settings can you change the times? I have a 19 and have never found where the timing can be changed. Maybe not programmable on a 19. Asking...

    Multiple HVAC Sensors Bad?

It's well known that some of the 19's have some AC problems. Most of it concerns the linkage to the blend door in the plenum. It doesn't close and lets the hot air mix with the cold air, does not cool the truck very well. The TSB is to tear out the entire dash to get to the plenum and change...

    Multiple HVAC Sensors Bad?

What is the date of manufacture for your truck? Tell us little more about what you are driving. Some of the earlier builds, the AC is less than desirable.

    Parking

I watch the left rear wheel and the rear corner of the bed. Glance at the right mirror to make sure the clearance is there. As long as the space is reasonably big enough, the left side will take care of the right side. The surround camera helps give you the overview, but the nitty gritty is...

    Parking

It just takes a bit of time to learn where the front and rear bumpers are. Backing in is easier, the mirrors won't lie to you. When I got the truck I tried backing with the trucks surround camera's, never going to do for me. Except, when picking up the trailers, I can put the ball exactly...
