So I just got my truck today and I'm wondering what the two rolling switches are to the left of the steering wheel. I know the one on the right controls the Deming of the dashboard. But what does the one on the left do? I thought it would set the brightness or dim the interior lights but it...
Picked it up first thing this morning! Absolutely beautiful ugh I mean Manly/sofisticated. No issues at all. Drives so smooth and quiet. Does not feel like a truck. More if a top if the line SUV.
You can keep.calling Ram Chat. Phone call will get you more luck at getting info than the Chat. I was able to get status info on every trip and stop of the train on its way to the dealer. Just say Hi, xxxx, how is your day too? That little bit softens them up big time. 4 out of 5 looked way...
I bet. Does it come with a "new truck parking" feature. Press the button and it takes you to a spot with nobody within 15 spots and parts it diagonally across 3 stops. lol We all hate that guy, but on Week 1 seriously think about being that guy!
@Jackham - Intelligence, who's leaking intelligence???? We're not intelligent enough to get intelligence! ;)
Thanks. I gave them the full vehicle checklist from floating around this site and said you can use this to make sure everything is up to snuff before I get there. That's some...
How does everyone who has it find it works. I've see 2 demos of it on YouTube. It looks like magic! haha. Actually, in each perpendicular parking (parking lot stalls), the truck was shown backing into the stop, stopping, moving forward, and then back in at the final correct angle. Almost...
Well, I just got a call at 11 AM. "Hi, your truck just came in"
So case closed. Moral of the story is. This forum ROCKS! People are awesome, and always offer whatever they can. Sometimes advice, other times key Intel.
Cheers! PS- Can't wait to finally change my signature.
I heard that whey you use the self-parking on Musk's pickups, they explode in the spot just like the Space X rockets upon landing. Tough task for those early adopters!
that brings up a question. If I purchase my truck from dealer A who is 100 miles away, but bring it in for warranty service at dealer B which is local to me, does A have to compensate B (local)? Or, does B just bill FCA since it is warranty work? Are all dealers obligated to perform warranty...
Great info. And yes, isn't it amazing how all of a sudden it's in stock, or in my case, the hold was released, when all morning it couldn't be.
I was thinking of calling FCA and seeing if they could see who put the hold on it. That would be the smoking gun and great intel! I doubt they...
@TVANVA
Great advice - I did not know that about the ceramic. now that's important to know.
As far as the Mopar wireless charging system, my build is a Limited, so it already has the wireless charger phone slot (left side) below the 12" Uconnect. Is that what you are referring to? or...
@Lil Miss Always Wrong I like your thinking. Check out my new thread. I'd like like to get your thoughts on my situation.
Advice/Help: Truck on "Dealer Hold" 1 day away - How to get it released or comp.
I know. It just pisses me off when they get sneaky. I paid in good faith, and I'm even already paying insurance and on the loan for a week now. It's not a fortune of course, but it's still not cool. Thanks. Deep breath. And then I see their tv commercials. Lol
Looking for some help from the Group on how to get my dealer to actually get my truck delivered (not lip service me) or, some type of "compensation" for the unnecessary delays to motivate them to get it delivered. Oil change (nah, do my own, don't want to drive 1 1/2 hours to get it done at...
Make sure you give the guy who drives down to pick up your truck your social security number and your mother's maiden name. They'll need that too! Lol
I would definitely ask questions first and not release your truck. I agree with the simple solution of sending them a picture of the VIN...
If it's just you serve casting and a little bit of gear your stocktars will be fine. Most daytrippers who go on the beach are all in their stock tires and then you'll have it better driving tires the other 340 days of the year. Yes a better tread would be better but would you really need to...
thanks for the info. That's what I was thinking also they won't send it out until the truck is full but my dealer actually got a truck full of 1500 trucks just yesterday so a full truck went their way and a sold order should definitely take priority over a dealer allocation. Yes helping April...
