Wow. I feel your pain. Whatever road debris in our areas must effect the damage. My fender flare damage is much worse than yours - however my area in front of the flares are untouched, while yours seem to have taken some hits.
I pulled the flares off and wrapped them in 3m PPF yesterday just as a quick protection until I get some steps on. Idk what film I'll end up using once I repair the paint damage.
I'm thinking the stock steps will protect you pretty well. Luckily I was able to keep my truck in the garage during this weeks nasty weather until my film came in and I could get it on. Let the beater take all that winter abuse.
I just ordered these, so I'll report back. But I think the best prevention is going to be installing side steps. It looks like that will block the debris path almost entirely. Expensive preventative maintenance, RAM. Bummer for all the retractable step trucks.
This is the rear fender flare facing the front of the vehicle. Whatever chips this area is being kicked up by the front wheels. The front flares are untouched.
Anyone else having this issue? I have 3500 miles on the truck, no off road use. I'm guessing it's from whatever salt mix they're using in Pennsylvania. Just chipping here, nothing on the front of the vehicle.
Time for some flaps at a min.
Those are the 20" option on the Big Horn, right? I agree that those 22's just dont look right on my setup. I think i'll prob try and pick a set of the 20" limited wheels up to replace the Laramie 18's I currently have.
Has anyone put the black 22" Laramie wheels on a Big horn or Laramie with the chrome bumper and grill? I have a silver Laramie like the one in the first picture and want to see if the 22's in the second pic would look out of place with the chrome trim. The color scheme of the 20" Laramie...
So I called and left messages with the finance department to see what the extra incentive was. I never heard back so I emailed them, stating that if I did qualify for another incentive that I would be willing to split it with them. You know, to make it worth their time at least. I received a...
This past Saturday I traded in my 2014 3500 Big Horn for a 2019 1500 Laramie. The truck’s great and all that.
The deal I made included $6,333 in dealer discount and $3,000 in rebates. $2,000 Retail Consumer Cash and $1,000 Black Friday Cash. I had some equity in my trade and used a portion...
