When you read the max payload number and not your specific payload number

I titled the thread the way I did because of the owner. He says the truck should have x amount of payload. The person writing the article says there is no way to know the payload. All the information is right on the DOOR JAMB.

Spinning wheels and skidding even in AWD...

I have a 99 manual shift, manual transfer case, only rear wheel abs...I will gladly drive the 15 with the nannies. I drove them both back to back one day....you just do not even realize how they work behind the scene to make you a better driver. The problem being...you have to be a good driver...

Rules of Engagement: Five-Position Electronically Shifted Transfer Case

I can guarantee the truck will shift smoother and sooner at 70 once you lift off the accelerator than under 25 if accelerating braking or turning. The key is to be moving and coasting with no accelerator input, brake application or steering input. The computer senses wheel speed and direction...

Rules of Engagement: Five-Position Electronically Shifted Transfer Case

Shifting to 4 low is best done coasting bellow 5 MPH, but can be done stopped...BUT, the truck must be in TRANSMISSION NEUTRAL. Everyone seems to forget this. And then blame RAM for a crappy experience. Good times.

Has Anyone fit a Queen size mattress in the Bed?

Driving with the tailgate down will not hurt it at all. Just be sure to secure the load.

Tow hitch in a an accident

We were not talking about that. That was all I meant. I wasn't saying there was not also another recall. I hate talking on forums anymore. I am out.

Tow hitch in a an accident

With this recall...there was no hitch installed. The jeeps were having the gas tanks ruptured in rear collisions ..so the recall was to put a hitch in the jeeps to "solve" the problem
