Hey.
Been looking around for answers but nothing really came to a conclusion. So let's see if any automotive electrical gurus can help. I think I already know what I have to do (ugh)....
So I got a Course Automotive cellphone mount for my truck both a magnetic one and auto-closing. When I...
I've never had any serious issues. I've had my truck lifted for 1 year now. I installed myself and only issue I had was 1 loose bolt on the right upper trailing arm. Retorque and little noise I had was gone.
No warranty issues. If something was affect by your install like my issue they will...
Well, I appreciate the pictures as they helped me decided that what I had visualized is not what i see lol.
Your right, visually not appealing. I was hoping for something more low profile to the roof. If I went this route I wouldn't cheap out nor would I use mounts that require drilling into...
This thread is back from the dead lol.
Anyone do this yet? Lack of pictures on internet seem to point towards no. Everyone seems to out them in the lower grill etc... but I've always like the look of windshield curved LED bar lights.
I had 2 3ft lights on my moose bumper on my 2500 and man...
So I've got an update. Been on the highway a few times now. Zero wind noise as far as I can tell, no whistle of air. I listen with windows up and also windows down and nothing. Just normal wind you get with windows downs on a highway.
I am very satisfied with them, great product. Again I'm...
I haven't drivin far yet. In a few days I'll be hitting the highway I'll let you know.
I'm impressed so far with them. Just between quality, looks and installation. They are low profile compared to others and I like the consistent flow. The fact that go over the B pillars just make them blend...
Just installed the Wellvisors vent/rain guards today. Installation and fitment was a breeze. Even the clips that install at the rear of each visor were easy to work with.
Today I also installed AVS visors on my sister's Dodge Caravan and I didn't find the fitment of them good. I installed a...
Gave her a bath today and installed some Wellvisors rain guards. Installation and fitment was great. Love how they flow almost as one and how low profile they are.
I've been thinking about these before and then came by them surfing around recently. I really like them, not so much for the colour changing but for the super bright white lights. Make them look really good and meet requires to be actually DRL lights. Right now I'm only running these led strips...
Yes everything isn't for everyone.... To each their own I say.. I may not like it, you may not like it, but the owner likes it and that is all that matters!! (this goes for everything we do to our vehicles)
I will say this, the AVS Aeroskin I have heard and read not so good things. Yes it's...
No threads on this yet (at least not that I could find)
Has anyone used one of these snow windshield guards, you put them on the windshield so that in the winter you just pull it off. Saves time from scraping ice from the windshield.
Curious if anyone has used them on the trucks before, if so...
Thanks, I like the blue as well. Looks really nice in the sun with the pearl in the paint. I also like the Hydro Blue as well.
I like the little orange marker lights you have in the grill. Is that custom made or did you buy it somewhere? What did you hook into, the parking lights? Any night...
Clear wrap does nothing for protecting the windshield from rock/gravel chips. Also clear or colour match wrap ends up discolouring the hoods and fine dust particles can still get under those things.
To each there own. I myself don't mind the look of my AVS guard, now with that being said...
Just curious, do you have pictures of the WT of wherre it was eating the paint? As you know I already have the AVS 2 but curious as to what the difference is between the WT and AVS as they look very similar in design.
My AVS was hitting the top of my grill, but I believe that is an alignment...
That's what I did as well, I put the bumper things on the deflecror. Didn't want them on the paint.
I put 1 on each corner where it goes over the fender as I figure if anything was going to flex/move it would be that area as there are no clips there. The other 2 I put where the hood scoop body...
I've got a heat gun and air dryer.
Maybe I'll use the air dryer first as it wouldn't put as much heat out.
I tried to pick it off the day I put it on (it was hot) but wouldn't come off
AVS Bugflector 2 installed. Not usually something I'd like but if it prevents stone chips on my hood and windshield then I'll take the "function over aesthetics" approach. Plus got it for a good price on Amazon with a $20 coupon. Only on for a day so far, so time will tell.
Are you talking about the curve where the good goes down by the headlight? There is a cutout on the bugflector on the AVS as well but its sits a decent amount away from the hood. I suppose this is because of the grill/hood curve. Plus I probably let's snow and ice escape.
It must looks like...
Hmmm that's no good.
I've only just put mine on, but it seems to be fine. I don't foresee any problems with this AVS.
It only cost me $64cdn because of a $20 coupon on Amazon I got. I did debate on the Mopar one but I like that this also protects the front of the fenders as well.
