34 lbs in the airlift bags (before hookup), and Equilizer E4 1,000/10,000 hitch. Towed great on the way home (70 miles empty). Got a local trip next weekend to test her out a bit and work out the kinks. Any advice for a first timer, send it! Ha thanks.
Also for those that had the same question as me. I just spoke to a tech with airlift. His recommendation was to measure the height to the rear wheel fender with 5psi in the bags. Then increase air to 35 psi. Then hook up the WDH, then adjust the air as required to get close to that original...

Airlift1000HDs, I just installed mine this past weekend. The star nut on the schrader valve is installed in the wrong position it should be on the backside behind the plastic bumper, between the plastic and the nut on the backside. 1
That sucks! What kind of trailer? What dealer? From all I’ve read if a loose socket is all your dealing with, I’d consider that a win lol. But still frustrating.
Check the date of manufacture for the slide itself with the slide in peel back the seal on either side and there should be a sticker. Check out this link. Also could you tell me the width of the trailer? I’m building a gate for it before I pick it up ha...
This was a rental last month, no WDH, no airbags. Roughly 5,000# trailer. Just put a down payment on a 2022 Imagine 2400BH, installed the airlift1000HD bags today, and will use a Equilizer 4pt WDH.
My neighbor ran a two schrader system on his and we drilled out the license plate screw s and mounted them there. I just want to make the nut and washer black so it blends in more and I’ll be happy.
I fully intend on using the equalizer 4 pt WDH in addition to the airlift1000HD. Was also considering the hellwig sway bar as well. And I’m staying on the smaller side with the trailer being a Imagine 2400BH.
Install complete. Took just over an hour. Went with a single path install using the T fitting, schrader valve mounted next to license plate. Currently sitting at 30 psi for 24 hour leak check.
This was one of my concerns, the other being with individual schrader valves, if one develops a leak or pops while towing could that create an unsafe situation?
