So all day yesterday here in eastern PA, not a hint of a thunderstorm. Was nice, breezy and pleasant. Then about 830 last night it started lightning, then rain and then the event in the below picture happened:
No damage, no marks anywhere. It’s like it never happened, so I have no idea...
Here’s a question to those who have done this lift with the ORP springs: did you replace the front sway bar links to accommodate for the lift? I was only thinking of the rear and got a new pair of the Hellwig adjustable links, but didn’t think about the front. Thanks for your help!
I have an eTorque as well and was trying to see if there was a link between the bad battery and the eTorque system. What made me think this is watching my battery voltage gauge go all over the place, from 14v down to 12.6v. And sometimes it would happen at full throttle on the highway. SOme...
Yep, there are multiple threads around about this and I think the general consensus is the quality of battery they put in OEM is junk for all the technology to run in the truck. I'm getting this battery not only to upgrade, but for peace of mind. Some others have upgraded to it and it seemed...
Yeah I guess I’m trying to avoid purchasing another tablet to use and app that only works on Android, we have enough around here. The allure of Jscan is it fits the bill for what I need to do, which is recal my speedo. plus it sounds like you run less of a risk messing up your truck computer...
I'm researching this and trying to confirm since I have iOS and dont want to go the AlfaOBD route because of having to buy an Android device, etc. Does JScan have the 2021 Ram 1500 DT on its app?
So while I have never had an experience with having a dealer deny warranty coverage, I'm trying to parse the issue from it being a Ram vs. the dealership issue. Being part of this forum, I've heard a lot of horror stories of dealerships doing shady stuff, almost seeming like it's the wild west...
This gives me a little confidence to do it sooner rather than later, because I hate the look of the air dam/AAD on the front. Plus it would give a smidge more clearance for changing the oil. I'd be happy with a shield instead of a skid plate, anything to give a little more protection.
So I have been wanting to do this for a while and plan to do so once my lift kit is installed. The only thing that's held me back is the huge void that exposes the front part of the engine where the belts are. I've seen other threads citing the instance that a rather large rodent or road...
Nice, my brother in laws girlfriend lives there. Will be down there this Saturday.
I never regret going the ceramic route. It’s easy to clean, durable and looks fantastic when washed. I’m going to start using this stuff called Carpro Reset shampoo for maintenance washes. I have heard it’s...
^^^totally agree…..i was concerned with the badges being matte finish and the shop coating it, but it retained a nice matte-ish sheen to it when he was done. Also, have them do the wheels if you’re interested. Keeps the brake dust off. BTW, what part of PA are you from?
Hello all…so I’m upgrading/replacing my rear bumper and in doing so, I crawled under the rear bumper today to see if I could locate the bumper harness they called out in instructions I’ve seen online.
One instruction states to pull out a yellow lock tab and extract the red lock bar. I’m not...
My PPF was $2500 installed….was Xpel brand and they use custom laser cut film that matched the contours, cutouts of the front end. Completely seamless.
Ceramic coat ran me $1600. A lot of the ceramic coat price isn’t so much the coating itself as it is the prep that goes into it. My truck...
Poconos are only about 30-45 mins north of me. Workin on a project now opening a new hospital in Dickson City, so will be in that area a lot in the spring.
So let me pose this question to you guys: I have the Mopar lift kit, a set of ORP springs for the front and a set of Icon 1.5” springs for the rear. Will this be an issue installing ORP springs out front and the icons in the back? In theory it will be .5” rake. That I’m not concerned about...
So I ran into this issue with my old Laramie with the stock 20” rims and tires. Embarrassingly, could not jack the truck high enough with the on board jack to get the tire off. Thank god was near a gas station that had scrap pieces of wood I placed under the jack and that got me the height to...
