I started with this as well….after watching the gallon count in the pump, I know there is no way it’s all the way full. I end up doing ”top off” pumping and try and listen to see when it gets to the Top of the filler neck. Plus the DTE seems to be 50 miles shy of what it always has been...
If your up for it, you can probably vinyl wrap that in any color of the rainbow. It does come off easily and you can get a carbon fiber texture wrap or something of the like.
There are a lot of curves and contours, so you just need to be patient when wrapping and hit it with some heat to make...
Just pulled 17.7 avg mpg on the drive to Delaware today, 99% highway driving. Not bad for the KO2’s, lift kit and active air dam delete. Did notice a little unwanted gyration on certain stretches of road. I know it was that particular stretch of road and not the tires because it smoothed out...
Couldnt agree more....I just posted a similar review on another thread. I have 1000mi on my KO2's at 39.5psi and they are really comfortable and really make the ride enjoyable. As I said in the other thread, I'm calling out the naysayers for being a little over-dramatic for saying how rough a...
I've had the BFG KO2's for maybe 1000 miles and I gotta say I love them, a good validation for the choice I made. Havent been through the rain/snow yet, but highway driving the noise isnt too bad. The surprising point to me is how comfortable they are on the road. I was very worried when I...
Just like the title says, I’ve been giving some thought to starting a car/truck detailing side gig. My friend and I did this 20+ years ago and the technology then was nowhere near what it is now. The old saying, if I knew then what I know now…
Im curious if anyone has ever done something like...
I was in the same debate not too long ago. I have the 2" Mopar Lift/Level and went with 285/65/20. Was nervous about that, since the guy at the counter at the tire shop winced when he saw how big the tire was. But once I had them on, they couldnt look more perfect. Not as beefy as a 295...
Stock fogs with yellow Lamin-X film on it. Was pretty easy to do with a beer and the wife's hair dryer. I took the entire light assembly out to make it easier to apply. While I have had it like this almost a year, I want a brighter fog so I may end up replacing with a whole LED assembly in...
What I learned on this forum was the chalk test....color a cross section of each tire with chalk and find a flat surface.....drive 75-100 yards in a straight line....backup in a straight line.....get out and check how the chalk wore off the tread.
If it wore off just in the middle, its...
That’s the one I just picked up. There is one specific made by the manufacturer of my ceramic coating called Ferrex. I got the car pro since it’s readily available in the local detailing storefront.
This weekend will be the first time using it. How did it work for you?
Heres another product I’m about to try….claims to no hide, but remove light imperfections. Been following some detailing forums and people say it works:

Agree!! First thing I did was spin the bottle and it clearly says safe for coatings. I’m also going to spray some iron decon Spray as well to get as much decontaminats off there as possible
Mopar 2” lift/level….ride quality is markedly better with the Fox shocks….been messing with the PSI for BFG tires and ride quality keeps getting better. 285/65/20
