I got my truck back Friday. They replaced the fuel pump and so far (probably jinxing myself) all is well. Hopefully the Star Case is available for all dealerships and this is the fix for everyone and not a bunch of gremlins plaguing these new trucks.
I am no gear head so I am not sure. I was just told the faulty one's replacement ordered was not putting out what was needed. I didnt know there were multiples in vehicles. I really get sporadic details on my truck as it is. Today got a call that the part did come in today but won't be fixed...
Surprise surprise...fuel pump didnt come in and won't be in until next week now...another excuse and another week delay...the beats just keep on hitting. Anyone have any Lemon Law advise?? I don't want to go to that because I like this truck but I can't have this repair going into perpetuity...
My dealership has run the gambit of "diagnoses " that have all been listed on this thread, except loose connectors (probably next)...first was software update, next kinked fuel line, and now I'm waiting on a fuel pump that wasn't putting out...tech did ask what fuel I use ( probably to blame...
Ram Manager sent me an update that the part needed for my repair will arrive to their parts distribution center no later than Monday. Once it arrives, they will get it packaged and shipped out and should arrive to the dealer early next week. He said they usually overnight the parts once they...
Well...fuel pump did not come into the dealership yesterday (I dont know why this is srprising given the run around Im getting on this issue)...no call from the Service Tech. I call the Service Department and another Mensa Society inductee looks up my information and cannot find any notations...
Update my 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie CEL issue...fuel pump supposed to be in mid next week (their fix atm)... Service guy asked what fuel I put in it ( I see where this is going...gonna try to blame me for the problem like some others on this thread). He said the Regional Service Tech is on the job...
That's what the dealership told me on my first CEL visit that it was a software update. The CEL was cleared but within 2 weeks it was back on...now still at the dealership since July 8th...
My 2025 Ram 1500 problem child Check Engine Light is a Laramie...really want it back...fuel pump on order to arrive July 31st....I hope this kicks the problem
Contaminated fuel, lol...is it possible yes...but with the geography between these incidents I don't the vast misfire problems are fuel acquired...especially when my first misfire was fuel I got from the dealership when it was newly driven off the lot...Stellantis cannot think we all are that...
Update:
Fuel pump ordered and should be to the dealership Wednesday, July 31st. I guess this is their remedy at the moment. How they found one when the Service Advisor said there werent any I dont know. I just hope it fixes my problem, I can post the solution here so you all can get closure...
This might not be nothing at all and I am no way a gear head so bear with me...bought a 2025 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramire and before it went into the service department ( different thread on these forums...check engine light issues) I notice the trans temp got hot 140 plus....my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500...
Interesting events in regards to my check engine light issues....loner 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn the check engine light came on...was going to call the dealer to bring that truck in too...I got a flat and put the spare on to make it home...tire pressure system error came on...okay, BUT THE CHECK...
That's what the Service Advisor is telling me...low fuel pressure as a culprit...I told the service department at both visits that the light came on at start up and no performance issues during operation, but again I don't beat my vehicles so it could be labored during operation.
He said the fuel pressure measured was low, extremely with the numbers he said...if factual. I get the check engine light at start up. It doesn't seem to affect performance during operation but I'm just normal driving conditions, no towing, or ram-rodding it/general "clearing out the carbon"...
Update on my 2025 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie with the check engine light issue...They think it is the fuel delivery system that is contributing to the issue or the actual issue...the fuel pump is not delivering the required pressure is one issue he said (he told me the pressure it was putting out...
I have a loner Ram Big Horn...they said they aren't sure what is wrong or have a fix for the Check Engine Light issue with my Laramie (misfire on a few cylinders)...what are the chances the Check Engine Light comes on on this truck too, lol!?!?!?
