    Road scars

Me too. First time I saw one I knew that was my color and next truck for sure. And yea definitely. Especially since they were really out of my control. The majority that come next will be also I’m sure. I’ll just take care of it best I can.

    Road scars

Definitely. My last truck I didn’t think twice about going off pavement. I took it slow on gravel but still think that was the ding I got. My bad luck here lately also has been cars traveling the other direction flinging stuff at me a few times. Thankfully one was a piece of a tire but the...

    Road scars

Short of keeping it in the garage or barn all the time and never driving it i don’t think any truck could ever be blemish free

    Road scars

Both of mine before were black. I thought I’d get away from a dark color but the PB hooked me. And thanks. I’m trying to tell myself if I can’t see any ding from 10 ft away it’s not a big deal. Touch up paint has done pretty good for the painted bumper. Not perfect but better.

I’ll definitely think more about it on the next one. My current one has 18K miles on it now. I hope it’ll subside over time haha

    Road scars

I have always wanted the Patriot Blue 5th gen Ram. I’ve had 2 other Rams and am a loyal Ram guy. This is for sure the nicest one I’ve ever had. I’m having a tough time accepting the road scars that come with a daily driver. What’s weird is I haven’t been that way until now. I had a door ding...

Hi! New member with a question

Thanks @RamCares, but I feel like it will be as good as it can get without hinge work which I do not want my hinges messed with. Thank you for reaching out though.

Check your doors for alignment. Quality Control

And it starts becoming under flush below the belt a few inches down and continues on about 20 inches below the handle. Then flush and a hair over flush below in places. Almost seems like my door is a little misshaped maybe? No leaks or wind noise.

Check your doors for alignment. Quality Control

Both of my rear doors were sticking out. Driver’s rear more than passenger rear. Strike plate was adjusted. The drivers side looks pretty good now. The passenger side is under flush just a hair like 1/16 maybe lol. I tried to get the striker plate to move out but to no avail. Pretty hard to go...

What did you do to your Ram today???

What did you do to your Ram today???

A few things I have done. Knob plate, rhino bedliner, window tint (front to match rear and windshield strip). Just ordered a Mopar hitch cover also. Was going to get wheel well liners but heard there was a recall on aftermarket ones? News to me

Hi! New member with a question

Thanks! Luckily it’s only cosmetic. After body shop made adjustments it’s just under flush a few mm in one area. No water leak or wind noise. Searched the forum and looks like I’m not the only one with door alignment issues. Never noticed it when I bought the truck until washing it. They’re not...

Hi! New member with a question

Hello, New to the forum, but not to Ram! This is my 3rd one. (See sig). This is rather lengthy but wanted to post. I’ve had a 2nd gen, 3rd gen, and now a 5th gen. Love my truck. Only issue I’ve had was the rear doors were a bit misaligned. Out at the bottom some. Strike plate was adjusted and...
