Same here - I don't like the look of rivet fender flares. My oem fender flares are all scratched, plus with TRX wheels I need wider flares. Couldn't find anything that fits Rebels.
I'm using Husky Centerline TS to pull 6500lb GVWR travel trailer. Had no issues on mountain roads even during storming weather. I usually disconnect the bars when leaving the highway and going off-road so bumps are not transferred from the trailer to the truck.
eTorque Rebel on TRX 35" wheels. 16 mpg on the highway when not towing, 9 mpg when towing a 7000lb trailer. I've considered switching to 32" regular highway tires, but they look terrible on Rebel.
I've tried Michelin hybrid wiper blades from Costco -> they are not compatible at all. Hybrid blade doesn't work on our curved windshields and driver side wiper doesn't touch the top part of the windshield at the edge position at all.
Tried different Bosch blades - Icon and Evolution. Streak...
My Rebel 2020 re-calibrates the speedometer automatically when I swap the wheels from 33" to 35" tires and back. Checked going 80mph using a very accurate GPS speedometer. AlfaOBD shows wheel diameter setting set to "Auto". I assume it works only if you have navigation, which means truck can get...
As I know, there is no single front camera option for RAM 1500. It is either backup camera only, or surround cameras, which work through a dedicated module that collect inputs from 4 surround cameras and sends it as one video feed to the screen.
So I've decided to update to PR39.7 using the USB drive. My version that was installed on Sunday was LR34.31, not the latest one. Manual update took 20 minutes and went fine. Now I have Off-road pages (no ECU reset was needed) and working on adding Performance Pages through AlfaOBD.
I was barely using my RAM recently; it is more an offroad and road trip rig for me. I was always worried about using battery tender with eTorque. Battery never died, so no problems with cold start once a month, but still.
This thread gave me confidence to use battery tender with my RAM. I'll...
Can you make a video comparing high beams and high beams with LED bar, please?
It will be even better with fog lights on in the case if you disabled fog lights drop out (otherwise fog lights turn off when you turn on the high beams)
I've got my update installed over the air on Sunday. I've bought my truck new in August 2020 and this is the first time when I've got Uconnect update. Artist name when streaming through Carplay still doesn't show. "What's new" page was empty. I don't see any changes.
I'm a huge fan of eTorque for two reasons:
1. Butter smooth start/stop. Like to feel no vibration from the engine and complete silence when stopped in the traffic.
2. Regen braking. I live in the mountain area, so it helps a lot.
Mine has 150 miles and Carfax shows two oil changes, since it was on dealer's lot for almost a year.
Many CDJR dealers reset odometer to 0 every few weeks. On RAM DT the procedure is very simple, one technical can reset the odometer of the whole parking lot within an hour. Each test drive is...
I went with cheap running boards from Amazon, $240. https://amzn.to/3e2mXyR
10 out 10 in terms of comfort getting in and out, easy to install. Few years of heavy use and they still look like new. They definitely suck off road, but "off road style" running boards are way less comfortable for my...
