I've got my truck from the dealership today. New window installed, no cracks in corners. Guess what - I drove 2 miles back from the dealership during mild rain - and I see water drops in the same place again. New window leaks from day 1.
Will be doing a Permatex trick over the weekend.
Asked dealership to follow TSB 24-001-20 and fix the issue with poor AC performance. They did some measurements and couldn't find any issued to get authorization for 5 hours of work and a lot of new parts. It is 45 degrees outside, so yes, hard to say that AC performance is poor.
The problem is...
Yes, you are right. Autonation is one big lie.
I went to another dealership - they've diagnosed it within a day and confirmed that plastic trim in the corner of the sliding window is leaking, but brake light and glass itself don't leak. They've ordered a new glass and plan to replace it next week.
I've got an update from the dealership this morning. They've cancelled my appointment and explained that Stellantis requires all cabin leak cases to go through an independent leak investigation provider. I was surprised to learn that there is a type of company like that, and there are a lot of...
Greetings from Seattle, where it rains every other day. I drove my truck three weeks ago during heavy rain and parked it in the garage after that. Haven't used the truck since.
Went for quick drive this week and saw A LOT of mold. Freaked out a little. Spent 4 hours removing all my belonging...
It is not about the infotainment system per se, but more about software-based vehicles (Tesla, Rivian) vs integrated vehicle systems (basically every other manufacturer).
I'm fine with features of 12" UAX since it is just an infotainment system and a way to send commands to BCM through touch...
Got tired of dust in the bed after driving on dirt and gravel roads (with tonneau cover closed, obviously). So installed a tailgate gap gasket from Extruded Solutions. I'll test how it performs on the next weekend trip.
I've ordered Gator ETX Soft Tri-Fold. While it works OK and install was easy, it looks so loose comparing to my old Tyger soft rollup cover. I've ordered a 2nd one to check if that is problem with the particular one or they all are loose (and not adjustable).
I've got an update from Bushwacker:
"Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately the Pocket Style is the only option as this is the most popular flare. See no plans for the Extend-A-Fender to be offered for the Rebel Model."
So Bushwacker pocket style fender flares are the only option for Rebel...
My trial expired in 2021. I was curious if app became better or if delay became more usable. So, I've paid $13 for 1 month of Remote package to give it another try.
No - absolutely no improvement comparing to 2017 when I first tried SiriusXM Guardian on my Dodge Charger. I don't know what they...
I've mentioned that RAM website has this info about new air filtration system for 2022 RAM 1500:
New Air Filtration System
Protect yourself and your passengers with the new air filtration system which comes standard on Ram 1500 trucks. This new air system filters 95% of air particulates, such as...
When I was driving to Montana last week, the AC was barely able to cool down the cabin from 95 degrees outside to 76 degrees inside. Even in Max AC mode it wasn't blowing cool air.
I did some research and found this TSB. Basically, it means it is known problem and the whole AC unit needs to be...
