I bought that stuff for my dad and he said it didn’t work. I tried it on my wheels and it definitely works. I recommend this method too. Beads water like no other and is super simple to use. Just have to clean your wheels first
I’m sure this has been answered but I couldn’t find it. I have 2” rear spacers on my truck. I think I found that to run the airlift 1000 set up I could drill holes in my lift spacers to run the line for the air lift helpers but I’m not sure that’s a good idea. My question is what’s the normal or...
Love it. Looks way better in person. In pictures the wheels just kinda fades in w the tire. Tires are Venom power terra Hunter XT. They do hum more than the toyo open country at3 I had on there before but I don’t mind a little noise from the tires. Thing looks awesome. The wheels don’t look 22”...
They look better. If you’re thinking about it and want it just do it but yeah it won’t make much if any of a difference. I’ve got one one my cobra but it is a much larger diameter tube and has 20lbs of boost so it needs to suck a lot harder (insert girlfriend joke here)
I could be wrong but I bet hardly anyone on here has those. Why not just get ready lift tubular if you’re worried about clearing it w factory offset wheels. Plenty of people using that w no issues rubbing the control arms on 35x12.50
Maybe that’s what’s going on w my truck. I have the RC 3.5” w their front struts. I get this popping noise sometimes that’s pretty loud and sounds like it’s coming from directly under my feet. Doesn’t happen often enough to take it to a shop yet and I couldn’t find anything loose
Just to follow up, here is what I found out looking at the custom offset site. Everyone that runs the 3.5” lift and 22x12 wheels w -44 offset uses a 33x12.50 tire. I’m 95% sure I’d need a 6” lift or cut a bunch of stuff up to run the 35x12.50 so I’m not even going to try it. Plus I don’t want it...
I’ll report back. I just thought somebody would have already tried this. The wheel seller had no clue they were 12 wide. I’m sure I could sell them if needed
I don’t have a Jack or Jack stands anymore and I don’t think it’ll work but I figured someone has probably tried this already but yeah I’m not against having discount tire mount them for me. I just think it’ll rub the fender. Maybe not. I already removed the little mud flap and did the tab...
Long story short I bought used wheels and tires which I thought were 22x10 et-13 but turns out they’re 22x12 et-44. They have 35x12.50 tires. I’m wondering if I can run these on my truck w a 3.5” lift w just trimming the plastic liner?
I’m not 100% on this but likely 2.5” net. It replaces the entire front spring and strut. Good news for you is if it’s 1” taller in the rear already and you’re using a rear spacer you’re already 1” higher in the rear bc you’ll use the factory springs. Be sure to post a pic once you do this. I’d...
Not sure about the pieces vs a kit. You don’t need shocks unless you’re gonna be doing a lot of off roading. Get the 2” rear spacer unless you want the front higher than the back. W the 2” mine is still almost a tad nose high but pretty much dead level
Not sure on the factory highest size but you’ll want 35 x 12.50. I have 34 x 11 (close 275/65/20) on fuel wheels and it looks too small to me sometimes.
No. My truck is perfectly smooth. I’d check the wheels and tires. Get real specific w that. I’ve had that problem w two different mustangs and it’s always been the tires or wheels. It may not even be the balance. The wheels themselves or tires I bet are the problem. Lifting a vehicle shouldn’t...
