yeah, we get enough snow that scared me away. I used to have that issue with my K&N setup on my Tacoma. You notice any change in fuel economy with your S&B? I read one review where they said there MPG dropped a lot. Reached out to another member who has an S&B and he didn't have that issue...
I have seen the Sticky about the Mopar Ram Air, but has anyone looked into the K&N kit or the Kit by SB Filters? I used to run a K&N on my Toyota Tacoma and liked it.

Anyone running a flow master 50 series? From what i am reading it is a better sound, but is designed to not have much drone. Be nice to have a bit more sound when flooring it, but i also don't want to drone myself crazy towing.
Nope, i was just going to go with what the RV place had, but it was over 600. Didn't want to spend that much since i had the bags. Super helpful. Thank you!
Thanks, I did some more general googling and that was what i was leaning towards. Might not get the super fancy model of hitch, but I will do one. Thanks!
I am going to look at a new toy hauler tomorrow. Its a Forest River Grey Wolf 22RR. I already installed the air bags and in the box there was a notice about not really needing a weight distribution hitch. This toy hauler is 4871 lbs dry and GVWR 7686. Most i will haul is my 500lb 4 wheeler...
I drove across the state of Missouri, All highway and pretty flat. 18.9 was what i got running about 72. I am ok with that. My Highlander AWD would have gotten 21-22, but it couldn't tow anything. So far the worst thing i have seen for gas mileage is sitting idling. Waiting to drop my kid...
I got a the shortbed and never had that issue. I sold my house last year and hauled almost everything i own 3 hours across the state to store at my parents. Made the trip 2x and each time I was loaded like this picture below. I had the trailer probably overloaded and the bed stuffed full. I...
LOL, Yes. My wife laughs at me for it. I am just flat amazed where people will try going in an all wheel drive car. My wife's subaru is pretty impressive, but if i was going to go anywhere off-road it would need different tires.
P.S - The video with the 2wd Tuscon down a jeep trail was just...
Jumped onto this thread to see if maybe the truck RAM AIR was worth it. Ran into Trans AM lovers :). I came close to selling mine once and luckily things turned around. 2000 Trans AM WS6 with 7K miles. Truck was hooked to the trailer for a few days so the garage queen got some daily driving.
How far and how frequent do you pull it? That Sierra had a max tow of 9,400. You are probably going to get a similar tow experience. From what i have read you will want airbags to help with handling.
I flipped through all the pages on this thread and didn't catch anyone with Offroad package without air. Mine came with 275/55/r20, anyone know the tallest you can go on the stock rims without rubbing? I would assume 285/60/R20's would fit, but it's been years since i have looked at bumping up...

I have tinted flat windows like the back windows of trucks and garage door windows. I think i will get a quote and compare the cost of letting a pro do it. If this was an old beater i would do it for sure.
