If you take the black/dark brown leather on a lonhhorn it will be less engraved. Around Q3 2018, you could for each leather on a longhorn choose if engraved or not, was no more the case once i ordered. edit: just got the picture from my RAM arrived at the dealer!

I really wouldn't know, i guessed the non-engraved leather on a longhorn... just a wild guess. or more psycho, a rebate to the dealer from the plant for de-prioritization.
