I really think mpg has to do with the epa and electric throttle body. I first noticed they were screwing up crap in my 14 civic si 6sp manual. It blew my mind that the epa literally makes them add fuel when you let off the gas for almost a whole second. Not really noticeable in an automatic but...
There are settings in Alfaobd to change the ANC to match your setup. Might just need to change that, but from what I've heard, bypassing ANC should make the audio sound much better on the stock Alpine system [emoji1695]
Just ordered, Thank You. I prefer to leave the stock wiring intact over de-pinning the stock connector. I have almost the same setup, 22, crew cab, alpine, 12in screen though.
How do you like your 8.4? I've always preferred buttons and knobs over touch screens. Thinking about making a 8.4 swap...
I've heard multiple times that many tuners have simply stopped offering any good tunes since the EPA began cracking down on everyone a few years back. I'm looking for a good, efficient tune on my stock 22 5.7L. I'm tired of 13mpg city and would like my truck to run and shift properly. The only...
I've never had an issue with Rockauto, ever; and I order a lot. They're so much cheaper for the same parts as Autozone, Advanced, ect... Even after the extra shipping charges it's still about half the price of Autozone. Rockauto really pays off if your buying multiple things like doing a...
Did you buy an adaptor from Crutchfield (if so, which one) or unpin? I have the Alpine System and I start to get a headache anytime I try to listen to my music above 10. It reminds me of those noise canceling headphones back in 2004. I normally listen to my music loud and it isn't normal to bug...
I've had my 22 for about 9 months now and feel the ride quality isn't correct. It seems to take straight on bumps fine, but driving on a road where the right side dips a little and I'm rocked side to side pretty strongly. Is that normal, because it doesn't feel like it to me at all. I upgraded...
I have a 22 Limited 5.7 non-etorque 3.21 rear that just rolled 10,000 miles and average 15 - 15.5 on my display. About 1mpg lower actually. I only get about 19.5mpg on display on an all highway trip (18.4 actual). It is much lower than I expected as I normally get the stated hwy estimate on...
I mentioned how messy the oil changes were to a kid I work with saying the same thing, "why would they design it this way?" He said it was to make it impossible for idiots to impact on the plug or filter. I think he's correct because it makes absolutely no sense otherwise.
I think you need the light switch with the off position. Canadian trucks don't have it, US trucks do. I'm not certain as I haven't ordered the new switch yet.
Everything looks Kosher suspension wise. I did notice the suspension is set to variant 1 - 3.0L V6 TD. Thought about changing to the closet variant 5 - 530HP V8 but holding off until I get some more information

Dakota shocks were replaced about 15,000 miles ago with kyb gas adjusts and it does ride on the high end of comfortable. This 22 ram with air just doesn't seem right. Saying rocking side to side harshly might have been too stern... I mean traveling down a ride at 45mph and slight dips on one...
I have stock 22's and my speedometer is exactly like yours - digital speedometer accurate and gauge off about 4mph. Did changing the tire size do the trick? I noticed there's a few settings that can be changed regarding the speedometer... type of speedometer, speedometer range max scale, ect.
I'm honestly awe-struck at how poorly the 22 Limited with air ride rides. My 04 Dakota rides smooth as butter and I expected the air ride, even with 22's, to ride comparably. Constantly rocks side-to-side harshly. It's enough to think something is wrong
You could get a vacuum actuated one like the old cars used to use. Throw on a check valve and you could even remotely actuate... Sounds like a waste to me with losing the ability to add a slight bit of heat to the AC on humid nights
To provide some closure... had a connector completely disconnected. The memory seats and ambient door lighting share the same wiring connector. All in all it only took about 10 min to get the door skin off, connect, and put it all back like nothing ever happened. Just had to find the time incase...
Did you get this resolved? All my ambient lights work except the driver's door and my memory seats will not set or recall. I'm thinking these are linked but seems unlikely to have 2 shorts.
Reset the seats with the back forward back method and no change. Also my drivers door doesn't have ambient lighting. Figured it was because it was the driver's door, but now I'm wondering if I have a disconnected connector inside the door. Window switches all work. Any guesses?
