My Rebel unfortunately didn't come with the premium sound package, and I'm really missing the harman kardon sound quality from my last BMW. Note: I have the 12" screen, but not the upgraded stereo package, if that makes any difference.
What are some cost-effective, minimally intrusive upgrades...
All, I've been having a similar issue, but it seems to clear up when I raise or lower the volume. It happens, for example, if I'm playing something on Spotify then start a YT video. I have to turn up (or down) the volume to get the sound going again. Try that next time.
I got mine to work, but it was very convoluted. It's not an issue with Homelink so much as the garage opener that came with my home. I'll link the video that worked for me when I'm off work.
I was looking all over the settings for this, too. Surely this can't be that difficult to program... after all, both Android and iOS have tablet versions running.

Glad I'm not alone. Folks in other places go, "why? It's a truck!" as if I shouldn't care about my ($40-60k) truck. Listen, if I ding it by taking it off-road or some other activity, that's on me. I can live with it, as it was self-inflicted. What I can't live with is irresponsible people...
