Truck went into the shop this morning. I'm also getting the brake squeal issue addressed as well as a squeaky/rattling front drivers side dash speaker.
Just heard back from my dealership this morning after waiting a few weeks. I have an appointment on Thursday to have the rear window replaced. Initially he had told me that the windows were on back order throughout North America until probably mid-April. Seems that these windows are in high...
I've never had a problem with the 12" screen. I love it. I wouldn't make the assumption that this item is bad just because a few people have issues with theirs. I would suggest that far more people have ones that work properly than ones that don't.
I came from a 2016 F150 Lariat with the 3.5L...
If yours doesn't have any visible cracks, it may be possible it is the high mounted break light or the shark fin antenna that is the source of your leak.
Glad the STAR helped you.
I wouldn't wait to get it fixed either. Warranty is made for things like this, and I know it sucks to have your new truck in the shop to get extensive work done, but you don't want water getting in and making a lousy situation even worse (ie mold). Just my 2 cents.
So I took my truck in this morning. I showed the service advisor the STAR and he asked which one it was for....the antenna, the light or the window? I said "the window". He said ok....there won't be anything he can do about it today...he needs to call Chrysler and get it approved and order a...
After some surfing on the interwebs, I was able to find the attached STAR Publication. Thankfully my truck is still well within its full warranty so whatever they decide to do with it won't come out of my pocket.
Hello. I just found a crack/leak in my truck as well yesterday. I noticed your post and after doing some online surfing of the ole interwebs, I have found the attached STAR Bulletin. Hope that helps you and you get a proper fix. My wheels go into the shop on Monday morning for its exam so I...
Good afternoon all,
Well, count my truck as one that developed the crack/leak in the rear window mold. I went to wash my truck yesterday and I noticed in my rear view mirror a drip of water. Upon further inspection, I noticed the crack and there was some water that had dripped onto the seat...
I put a K&N CAI on my first Ram, a 2010 Sport. To be honest, I didn't notice any improvement to engine performance, or mileage. One thing I will say is that replacing the rubber portion of the stock intake with the hard plastic one provided by K&N made that Hemi LOUD in the cabin when you...
I have this exact set up.....1500 Limited with air suspension and an Equalizer WDH. It works like a charm. Our trailer is about 29' and around 7600lbs wet. I had one of the local RV places set it up for me, and I was there when they did it. They did not disconnect the battery.
I have a...
I'm in Calgary. Yep, I took the truck into the dealership as I had a bunch of warning lights come on after it was boosted. They did a diagnostic on the battery and it failed. Replaced under warranty.
I have a 2019 Limited w/ air. Like you, I wanted it for towing our holiday trailer. I love the air suspension and the auto-leveling....no more dragging a** down the highway! Personally, I haven't experienced any problems yet. We recently went through an extreme cold spell here in...
I bought mine used this past summer. I was like you in the fact that I didn't want to take that initial depreciation hit. I also didn't want to pay 75k (CAD) new for a fully loaded Limited. I was happy with the price I paid for my truck, and felt that I had got a good deal for what I was...
When my fob stopped working in the cold, it was the battery. Took the truck to the dealer, they did a diagnostic test on the battery and found it was faulty. Replaced under warranty. It started like a champ afterward in -40 C.
Congrats! Sounds like a beauty of a truck! I admit that I too am curious about the Powerboost......when my Limited is done years from now, I'll be looking that way myself. Looking forward to seeing your pics and getting your thoughts after driving it more on a regular basis! Cheers!
100% on that app man...couldn't agree more. I admit to being jealous of my Ford owning friends who can start their vehicles from anywhere they want......for free.
