I have not had that issue. But once I did the update, it caused my FM station to no longer save, along with the top card of my uconnect screen. and my service tried everything but there was no resetting it or anything
Simple fix...you need to get a new radio. As long as your dealership is quality they will be able to get STAR to send you a new unit....Side trick is to call Uconnect and complain and they will set it up. I work for a dealership, and know the issue, and there is no way to fix it, once you radio...
Same issue as this, but only a couple of times. I had no issues before the update. I know, via working for FCA that there is an update coming. It sounds as though they are trying to push the update as soon as they can, but still no update. Replacing your radio will not fix the issues much. Mine...
Same to this. I work for Chrysler, in a form. I have had my radio replaced and I wish my first one had not been messed up by that update, because it worked great....I'm debating having them replace this one again or not
I haven't been able to take any pictures, but it is odd that they are sitting at one of Chrysler's 'holding lots' in Toledo, OH and not moving to someplace.
At the dealership, I have seen a 12" screen freeze, for 10 minutes, and when I went back out to see if it was fixed, half an hour later, it worked like normal. no update as of yet, for the software.
It sounds like you got a bad unit. My 12" only has one issue and that is the screen stays on after I turn off and exit the truck, while i am talking on my phone, after transferring from the truck to my phone. I had one time, that the left controls would not work on XM, but did for everything...

I must be, since forums are 100% true, and I lowly work at a dealership, place orders, track them, and know people at the factory...let alone I know how Chrysler order processing goes, since I know the head of the Jeep Wrangler plant. But please, do tell me how wrong I am.
