Looking for input on a 305/45 tire upgrade for the 22” oem wheels, I have the Laramie sport package so if you have pictures of the set up it would be appreciated. I’m looking more towards an all season like nitto 420 or equivalent but wouldn’t be apposed to a mild A/T. She’s a pavement princess...
I checked out blue ox, I don’t like the chains at the end of the bars, I don’t see where there sway control is. I’m also going to get airbags, and possibly a hellwig.
I was actually looking at that hitch also. I have almost 300lbs more of payload on my truck (1632 payload), I’m just not trying to push any limits and make my towing experience as smooth as possible.
I mean give it a shot and try a burnout/donuts. I didn’t go to that extent. There was just nothing visually stating a form of advance traction control was turned off
WDH/sway control hitch for a trailer that is at absolute max 7000lbs loaded. Is a hitch like Hensley/propride absolutely necessary or would something like an equalizer more than adequate?
100lb difference in hitch weight is kind of big deal when trying to figure out a TT for a family of 4 and...
I’m new to “heavy towing” aka travel trailers, most likely going to purchase in the next 6months or so. Are you saying the posted max payload and gvwr should be “ignored” if I use a wdh, and just mainly focus on gcwr and my rear gawr? I do plan on getting a wdh and some airlift 5k airbags. My...
Not going that route, I’m gonna get the look I want and functionality because it is possible. That would solve some of the problem not all of it. Thank you tho
Yea I’m planning on the airlift 5k bag kit, and a good wdh. Just wasn’t sure if there was a shock that could also assist. I was also contemplating the hellwig sway bar.
Yup as rob5589 stated it’s just for appearance, and the rake is for function/purpose. Now if you want both, just pick up some airbags for the rear when you have a load and you’ll be set.
Ya some extra length never hurt (insert pun here). But also take into consideration the length of the hose from the unit to the wand. Just a thought. Mines is a 20ft hose and 35ft power cord.
I just use any ole basic ext cord. But then again the cord for my electric pressure washer is more than long enough for my vehicles, drive way and outlet locations
OP, there is also a way within settings on your center (radio) touch screen to keep the alerts on but turn off the auto brake. I have it set up like that on mine. It’s done it a few times to me, and the alerts going off is enough for me to depress the brakes at a normal rate and look in my...
