Holy hell....sorta a short handed nightmare at the start. Once you get the first one done it's alot easier for the other side. Broke one clip that holds the inner handle cable in place ..... Very thin plastic.... thankfully the part is only $30. Jimmy rigged with a zip tie for the time being...

Also I'm trying to get the boot off from where the door meets the body but it's nearly impossible. Sliding a small screwdriver down to unconnect the tab doesn't work because there's a tab on the opposite side that you can't get to unless you take the entire door off. Am I missing something...

So you would rather have your keys left in the vehicle and then if you God forbid forget to unlock the door, or somebody gets into your truck they can steal your truck easier? Or if the keypad fails and doesn't work your keys are now locked in the car? Not sure I understand the logic here but...

Why don't you just add the proximity entry? A lot cleaner and a lot easier of an install
