This 80 something subaru has been part of one of our backstrops for several years now. The backstops needing sprucing up this weekend before all the fields get planted . Snapped this Pic before piling even more dirt riddled with old tires and logs and telephone poles in front and on top of it.
Just did a 650 mile round trip to the outer banks of NC. Truck had 4 kayaks hanging out the bed the whole trip but we managed to avg 20.8 mpg hand calculated . Crew cab SO with 3.55 gears 7500 miles on it now.
My 16yo son bought himself his first race car with money he's been saving. Someone started making it a drag car then for whatever reason stopped halfway and parked it in the barn for the last decade.
The hurricane tows better than the hemi. This is comparing my brother in laws 2018 rebel against my 25 warlock. Mpg was similiar. I traded with him for a day when mine was brand new so i could tow my boat. Boat/trailer is roughly 4200lbs.
Sick week just wrapped up down in FL/GA. Competitors race at several tracks over 4days and have to drive the race vehicle between the tracks for a little over 1k miles. There was a 2nd gen Dakota with a stock hurricane engine running low 10s. 1320video covered the truck pretty well on YouTube...

From my talks with the parts mngr as long as they were both the non powered folding non memory they were direct fit looking at his computer....of course we all know dealerships have never been wrong ...
I almost purchased a bighorn but didn't because it didn't have the tow mirrors. The salesman and myself chatted with the parts dept manager about what it would take to swap them out and the parts came to about $700 but all parts showed backorder with no eta. This led to me buying the warlock...
Not sure a lithium as the main battery would work in our truck. A 12v lithium requires a diffrent charging rate than a lead acid or agm. Would also have to be a heated battery or incorporate some sort of heated compartment for the battery to charge properly in frigid Temps. The tech on these...
11.8 is practically dead. A fully charged 12v with no load on it should read 12.8-13.2 . I've seen some other threads around about a parasitic drain occurring on some of the new trucks sounds like yours may also have this issue.
