BAT is a great site to look at when you have tens of thousands that you shouldn't be spending. Lots of Jeeps get sold on there when people get sick of them and/or can't afford the maintenance anymore. Then they cry that the next guy ruined their perfect creation.
Might be your area or what you're looking for. I'm not far from you, but anytime I do a search for different models I would like, I find around 20+ within a 30 minute drive. I just bought a Big Horn 6 months ago, but often search for Big Horn, Laramie, and Rebel, always the '24 though because...
I was at the dealer yesterday picking up my truck from service. Chatted with my service rep about pending strikes and other issues. This video sums up many of the issues. Possible that Ram, Jeep, and others will be shut down or sold.
When the video was talking about Jeeps, average price is now...
The dealer called today. Said they did a software update and haven't been able to reproduce the problem. Good timing for them, because I was on my way to pickup the kids and have a longer than normal drive tomorrow so picked it up. Probably only a few hot enough days left this year, so will...
So the dealer called. They've had my truck for 8 days. They ordered the part for my turn signal, so at least that annoyance will be fixed. For the USB, they're going to do a software update and test again.
I advised they have through next Thursday for 95+ degree weather, then it may not be...
The top two I'm considering are the Falken and Cooper AT3. Though I do like the MT Baja Boss mentioned above, might consider those. I know those are very popular in the Jeep community. Getting mine mostly for looks on a DD though.
The reason the Cooper are one of my top choices is I had the...
Ok, so sounds like it's not really worth it for the 1" if the shocks aren't much different than what I already have. If the 1" includes the tires, sounds like the springs would be around .5 inch.
Not sure I want to spend the money for aftermarket since it looks like that cost $500 - $1000+ just...
If I ended up going aftermarket, probably do the Bilstein 6112/5160 combo. Though at this point, take offs for just a few hundred is about all I want to do. I saw someone selling the full setup for $200 in the classifieds, just won't ship.
Great that you're taking care of her. It's always shocking to see the level of scumbags that abandon their pets. It's not that difficult to take them to a shelter. Sure, they're likely to be euthanized, but that's still better than starving to death, getting eaten by a coyote, or being run over...
I'm always fascinated with the Husky eyes. They look like wolves.
Your Great Dane looks like a sweet giant. I used to have a neighbor that had two of them. I can only imagine how much it costs to feed her.
Shasta (8yo) has now been with us since May and has fully adjusted to her new home. She likes to play with my boxer who is also happy to have a dog that will play with him since he is a high energy dog. Kids are enjoying her too. Unfortunately, she also likes to get dirty by digging in the back...
Another option is to go with an aftermarket radio that has idatalink, and buy the idatalink module. idatalink is a replacement for your OEM controls. Possibly less expensive that buying another OEM radio.
If you have the base 6 speaker audio system, I think it's just for ANC (noise canceling). No 'amp' on that system, but is where the speaker wires connect for the radio.
I have a 2023 Big Horn. Thinking of trying to find a Rebel take off suspension. I don't really want to spend the money (over $1000) for the Bilstein 6112/5160 setup. I'm not looking to level and don't plan to go larger than 33's, probably 275/60/20 or maybe Rebel take off wheels. Mostly concered...
Yes, pretty much the same. My commute home is around 25 minutes. USB won't work on a hot day. Though if I drive maybe 10 minutes with the AC on, then stop somewhere briefly like a convenience store, when I start up the truck again it will work.
Hopefully, they'll let me talk to the service...
Agreed. Though he seemed to not even understand the problem.
Rep: So the radio screen doesn't work when this happens?
Me: NO! Just the USB port.
Rep: So the car play won't work when connected to your phone?
Me: No, I have wireless car play. Just a USB flash drive for music.
Still...
