I went with Mopar wheel-to-wheel steps & did a short write up about it here. The price was competitive - I went with SS but chrome is available for about the same price - & I think they look good.

Sorry, I have to agree with the other responses: no way that's a warranty claim. If the plate doesn't rub without a frame, then it isn't warranty claim as frames aren't a factory option. Even so, I would bet the advertisement frame your dealer installs (assuming that's how they advertise)...
