My 2019 1500 Bighorn let me know there was an update available, yesterday morning so I followed the directions and when I went back out an hour later it said it failed. The same thing occured today. Only thing I could find online is to disconnect the battery in the vehicle so that the screen...
In my truck, I have the bench seat, the front two are charge/data and in the back I believe the left one is charge/data and the right one is charge only. I have a 2019 Big horn. Hope this helps.
The window is done, I picked it up last night. It is Mopar glass. It rained this morning heavily where I work and I went out after and checked and I didn't see any leaks. So hopefully this is the end of this part of my rams journey. I just took the tape off and I will clean it tomorrow.
I used my local mechanic, and he is under my insurance. I spoke with him this morning and he just texted me. He said he ordered a factory glass from Mopar and he should have the truck done Wednesday. He said he will keep it in the shop overnight as well and apologized for the aggravation...
Well, brought the truck back this morning. It leaked bad. I pointed out where and sent pics yesterday and a video. The glass guy didn't even seal it right, and it doesn't defrost in spots. The lines are broken in parts. Thanks for all the input, the shop owner said it will be done right...
I looked and I don't see mopar listed. So I guess it isn't. So I will take it up with the shop monday. It's XYG so its aftermarket. I was wrong in the above posts. I guess its wait and see for leaks and quality. Not gonna lose sleep over it. Again Thank you.
It looks different to me, I figured it was an updated version, but it is different inside. I have to go back next week for them to fix the backwards connected switch. If its not right then it needs to be corrected. Thank you again.
It wasn't done at the dealer, they said it was factory glass. The shop is dealing with Geico, they don't want to pay for the factory glass. So it is what it is. I have been going to this shop for 20 years and Im friends with the owner. Safelite did my windshield and it wasn't sealed right...
I had a replacement done today, it is different than what was in there. Im just letting it sit till tomorrow, I didn't even want to drive the mile and a half home. Here is a terrible pic I took when I got home. I will take more tomorrow, And the slider was connected backwards so I will go...
The owner of the shop said maybe a rock from a vehicle going the other way hit it. My wife thinks there may have been a crack or some sort of pre existing damage but I just cleaned the windows the other day. I didn't notice anything. IT was 5 am and dark so it could have been an angry troll...
the vents are pointed at the floor because I always put the frozen food there to stay cool on the way home from the store. Air temp outside was about 73 degrees and high humidity this morning. I'll double check the vents though. Thank you for the idea.
I submitted the claim through Geico to...
So I was driving to work this morning, all is normal, although I have this creaking when turning noise that comes and goes, but it seemed louder today. Anyway, I was just slowing down getting into turning lanes and I hear a loud bang, almost like running over an empty plastic soda bottle, but...
I have had the truck going on 4 years. I have never had frost on my rear view mirror, instrument cluster or the radio display. All the windows were closed, and it was parked in the same place and the same way it has through many storms and weather changes. The only thing that changed was this...
Anyone else have issues with Safelite?
I have a 2019 Big Horn, Safelite replaced my windshield a few weeks ago, and this morning there was frost all over the inside radio display and instrument cluster. as the widshield defrosted I had water in big drips coming down the inside of the...
Just be careful inserting the lights in the overhead console. the connectors inside will bend outward if you push too hard, and then its a fun game of getting it back into place. At least it was for me on one bulb. Take your time. :)
