I bought a universal (5x8?) Bedrug mat that I'm going to cut down to size for my Rambox bed. I'll have enough left over for the tailgate as well. Since this is just the universal mat, there are no sticky portions on it.
What would you guys recommend using to adhere it to the tailgate? Double...
Light colored leather "is what it is.". It shows stains and dirt easily. Once it develops the typical creases they show dirt even more. Clean as needed. A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser does a great job. Next time opt for a darker color.
Truxedo Truxsport soft tonneau. Easy installation, it uses the Rambox rails as the main connection points, which is nice.
My only dislike is I can tell it's going to leak. There is no way the seals along the edge of the bed won't let water in. I'm also not enamored with the tailgate...
I installed the Aries AdvantEdge running boards today. I couldn't get a pair of Mopar ones due to them being unavailable, and these were the only aftermarket ones that suited my taste.
Easy install, very solid. Overall I'm a happy camper.
I finally took a minute and enabled the eco light. I was at 180 miles on the odo, and over the next 20 my eco dash light lit up a bunch of times. So I would say there is no restraint on initial mileage keeping eco mode from working. Now with that said, I'm averaging 13.9 MPG on the initial tank!
I have a 2019 Rebel with the air suspension. I usually roll in aero mode. When I tow my 6000lb camper, should I set it to normal mode or is aero still ok?
Also, I see references to "jack mode" when doing levelling measurements for a trailer. What is "jack mode"?
I fill up with Costco gas 90% of the time, basically whenever I have the option that's where I go. As you say, they only sell 87 and 91, so I think my Ram is getting 87 by default. At least it's Top-Tier 87!
I'll probably throw some 91 in before I tow my camper, but otherwise I think 87 is...
The experts will tell you it's not related to the octane.
I'll tell you that even if it was, you got 10% better economy at a cost of 20% extra per gallon. Not a win.
Nothing wrong with new tech. If there is demand and you want to take a shot at creating supply, have at it. The only thing that I don't like is that we are still giving $7,500 of taxpayer money to support these endeavors. If you can afford a $60k+ vehicle you don't need (nor should get) my money.
My experience with an LSD is that when it kicks in you get a "hopping" sensation from the rear end as the torque is transferred from one wheel to the other and back again. Might not be characteristic of Rams but that was how my Dakota functioned.
I floored my Ram with locker going up a hill...
I almost bought a different set of Iron Cross bars until I found reviews on Amazon showing paint falling off. They seem to be a low quality manufacturer and should be avoided.
