Been running a Pedal Commander for about 2 years, second time it caused interference with ECM/BCM on the truck. Symptoms are, fire up truck, Check engine light comes on, along with messages, sercive throttle control, no park sense available, blah blah blah....get home, disconnect Pedal...
if I'm lucky enough to get into heaven...all I ask for eternity is that people spell lose & brake correctly....otherwise just send me to hell with the rest of the non-spellers...
this vehicle has not even been torn down yet!!!! hidden damage will be your nightmare, every little thing that the appraiser couldn't see, or didn't write...might need a full wiring harness, have fun with that. Boron steel will become a thing of hate. in your world...(seriously, just get rid of...

this is nuts...$2K!!??...I picked up a set of front pads at Autozone for like $140 or so...truck doesn't come close to needing yet at 45K miles...If you can, have the rotors cut...will save you tons right there over replacing them.
your right...nothing is worse as far as hose clamps go, than cheap worm gear types...there's a reason the factories don't use them on the assembly line...some know, some don't...
