Its the angle of the photograph. I'll take one from the other side of the truck tomorrow and you'll see that it still has most of its shape. I never slide out of my truck, always use the steps. The leather distortion is from pivoting to get out. Side bolster is actually holding up very well...
Thought I’d take a pic of my limited interior to show those interested in how the black interior is wearing over time. For reference, I come in at 230lbs. Overall, I’m impressed with the durability up to this point.
You are correct. It does have stock brakes, which work just fine slowing those big tires down from speed. And there are BBK upgrades for it as well, except they are very limited due to the 17" wheel on the Raptor. Not sure what size is coming on the TRX
I indeed am pleased with my purchase. I don't necessarily feel lucky, I'm more inclined to say that you are one of the unlucky customers that every manufacturer has. I sincerely hope that I'm more of the status quo. Hopefully warranty will get your truck straight, or at least you can come out...
My friend and I bought identical Redeyes (different colors). Our window stickers were different from each other, but we both had the same options and paid the same price. Mine came from the east coast, his from the west coast. Maybe there's a difference in listings based on where its going...
Not saying it won't happen to me, but my truck has 36,000 miles and zero warranty repairs. This is the place people come to post their problems, looking for help, or to simply be aware of potential problems (this is where I fall). People that don't have issues, rarely have reasons to post. I...
Check out americanmuscle. They sell many different kits that include fronts and rears averaging $500.00. Their big brake kits (which include new calipers) are the prices the dealer quoted you.
We had a Porsche 911 that had Brembos, an SRT Jeep with Brembos, and now the Redeye. I did the brakes on the first two myself, and it wasn’t in the same zip code for the prices quoted by the OP. I will perform the same on the Redeye once the need arises.
Some of your stuff will need to be warranty. But, coolant smell will always be there, keep an eye on your levels. Mine has the smell for two years now from under the reservoir cap, never been an issue. Your tailgate can be resolved with a torx bit at home in just a few seconds by moving your...
For the same reason you drop cell phone calls, or GPS systems lose signal, or satellite/HD radio systems buffer...Temporary loss of signal, or line of sight by the satellite as it moves across the sky at 17,500 miles per hour (which is the speed required by satellites to maintain orbit without...
Seems there is still quite a bit of inconsistency from the HK system/amps. My HK is way better than any bose system I had in my GM products. Maybe its because I daily drive trucks almost exclusively (Redeye Challenger being an exception, which also has the HK) Pickup trucks acoustics are...
Use mine to haul groceries, and happens to be the perfect size to hold up a gallon of milk. Prevents it from tipping over on the ride home and possibly leaking into my carpet. Of course, this is only from the small flip up seat on the drivers side.
Straps and the like are stored in my floor bins.
Ran across the rear toggles not working on my wife 2019 GC once. I found that one of the buttons stuck after it was pressed, effectively disabling the rest. Cleaned the button after getting it released, has work ever since.
