Thought I’d take a pic of my limited interior to show those interested in how the black interior is wearing over time. For reference, I come in at 230lbs. Overall, I’m impressed with the durability up to this point.

Not to cause concern, but there is another thread showing the dash leather coming apart and bubbling up on the limiteds.

Which is why i posted this. Not all limiteds have dashboards that are separating. Mine sits outside everyday for past 2 years.

Its the angle of the photograph. I'll take one from the other side of the truck tomorrow and you'll see that it still has most of its shape. I never slide out of my truck, always use the steps. The leather distortion is from pivoting to get out. Side bolster is actually holding up very well.

Got a pic from the passenger side looking across the drivers seat today. You can see from this angle that the bolster is holding up really well after 36,000 miles.

There was s video of a guy explaining lack of cushion on side bolster. When i get out i "feel" the plastic lower suppprt through the cushion. Only 200# but i feel like a fat bugger.

Big Horn Pleb approves!

EDIT: if you're worried about the side bolster, get in the habbit of using the grab handle to lift your butt in and out, rather than let the seat take all of your weight sliding in and out.

You are absolutely right, use the steps to get in or out of your truck to save the wear on the edge of your seats.

I dont think i "slide" in/out much. My reference more meant these foam side bolsters are more aesthetics than function. Side bolsters in my 17 Golf R were function over form.

Maybe i am looking for faults in my truck but room for improvement. Same with the limiteds blue/pseudo stitch balsa wood trim shenanigans
