I guess having a truck that I can treat like a truck (inside and out) would probably make me happy.
Thinking back, that may have been the purpose of the thread to see if others had this debate with themselves, and the overwhelming vote was the opposite.
These are the types of decisions you...
I have been searching and the UConnect issue does seem to be hit or miss, and the luck of the draw.
Back to the original topic....
The last few replies is more in line with my mindset.
(Its not an affordability issue but rather whether or not to pay that much. Also, I have never been a fan of...
From what I read, the leaking window was more of a 2019 issue and resolved in the 2022 and up. Is that correct?
I found a UConnect thread and it sounds like a sporadic issue which a few people resolved with a reset and some having it unresolved.
I vaguely recall reading that the price of Extended Warranties can be negotiated, but with certain non-Ram dealers in Florida there apparently is a fixed price.
Has anyone from Florida been successful in negotiating an official Mopar Extended Warranty (not a 3rd party one)?
If so, what was the...
E-mailed Arron and it was my mistake.
I have a **** load of trucks and numbers written down and copied the wrong numbers.
To clarify, the estimate for the truck in scenario 1 :
MSRP 67,975
MD : 58,989
The 63,118 was the price I was estimating as the OTD price.
I prefer not to purchase used and buy another person's problems. :D
Granted new vehicles have issues too, but the odds are less and you at least still have coverage.
I do a lot of around town driving and wasn't thrilled with e-Torque as it feels like downshifting when coming to a stop.
It was annoying enough for me to think about giving up all the wanted items to get a standard v8 if the price was worth it.
Scenario 1 :
2023
Laramie with everything I want.
Only downside is it has the e-Torque system.
MSRP : 67,975
Discounted : 63,118 + tax + tag + $444
Scenario 2 :
2022
Big Horn and missing most of the items on my "want" list.
But does have standard V8
MSRP : 55,925
Out The Door : 42,000
That...
Asking for future reference.....
Should they discount the rebates first prior to calculating tax or is it normal procedure to calculate tax then rebates?
I was very tempted on a 2022 Laramie, but it wasn't configured how I wanted it.
The MSRP 59,855 and the offer 48,105 and OTD 53,260.
I may be able to get them lower, but to me the options I wanted took priority over the price.
The 2022s are selling quickly and pickings are slim. Current plans...
I found that Cars.com works very well.
The filtering system gives excellent options and you can make it search up to 500 miles radius of a zip code.
One neat aspect is if a vehicle is selected, it provides a graph of the price history.
A click of the embedded link takes you to the vehicle on...
