Ive run a gapshield for a bit over a year. No issues other than a little spendy. Its held up to stone, gravel, building lumber, logs, dirt, tools, ext.
So yet again it's the 19/20 bcm holding us back, or so it appears. Thanks for confirming.
Really hoping we can find a way to swap the bcm out or upgrade firmware.
Check the bottom for how I resolved it.

The power and ground for the led in the mirror are standard spade connectors from what I recall pulling both tow mirrors and standard mirrors apart. While I think you could pretty easily tap into that, it would probably be less work to tap into the door harness wiring at the door module. The...
None, you'll drive yourself crazy.
Only search if you have something you don't like or can't find in the manual. You have a lot of warranty left to fall back on.
If you have alfaobd try to enable guidance lights via bcm car configuration. On a 2020 it doesn't work(even though it should) , but the 2021 bcm may result in success like the digital rearview mirror and upfitter aux switches.
I'd be interested to know if it does. It'd be yet another reason...
You won't get mirror running lights or guidance lights without running wires at this point. Still hoping a coding change fixes this without the need to hardwire.
You'll also need to run a calibration on your camera system to adjust for the new mirror camera location. It'll work without, but...
Did you make a settings log prior to changing things, or have one from recently? If so use winmerge to check for variations.
I ran into a similar setup and lost multiple items. I was able to determine some odd changes alfaobd made and revert them to get my parking, stability, and some other...
Posted in another thread, but I was able to fix it.
Quick update for those that get stuck in this loop. This process worked for me, and I have everything cleared and was able to update the size a third time without issues. I cannot guarantee these steps will work for everyone, or that I made...

That'd be it then. Dealer installed bed lights for me when I bought it.
Any clue on the lack of rolls taking? Letting it sit a minute and trying again.
Thanks yet again, man. You're a national treasure around here.
Was recalibrating tire size with alfaobd, all went well on round one but when I went to adjust a second time(2665mm) it wouldn't clear faults or complete rolls appropriatly.
I poked my head under the dash and found this loose wire that wasn't pinned. I don't even know which harness diagram to...
Few updates:
Managed to find the 217716CP in stock(last pair) at sdhq and snatched them up. Installed it all over the weekend.
I only wanted about an inch of lift due to a ton of highway miles. It's my road trip vehicle most of time in addition to hauling and camping. The new kit icon offers...
That's helpful, thank you.
To answer your question, I'm testing out a new kit from Icon and don't like their mounting solution for my remotes on the front.
Did you happen to get a picture of the front resi mounting brackets? Were they bolt on or did they requiring drilling? Now that I've seen them I like that position. Wonder if they sell them stand alone?
Thanks to @Rplante3108 i was able to snag a pair of roughed up Icon 2.5 coilovers needing some rebuild love.
After doing a boat load of research I wasn't able to find any with resi or cdc for the front of the Ram 1500. After speaking with Icon about it, it appears they ARE starting to roll out...
Are we referencing the front valance skid plate or the bumper to cross member skid plate? The answer to both is yes, however the bumber to cross member skid plate requires several additional parts.
