    2023 Chevy Silverado ZR2

Well guys, as of yesterday, after getting an amazing deal at the end of year as dealers want to move vehicles, and being able to use all of my GM Rewards Points along with a Costco Rebate, I purchased a loaded 2023 Chevy Silverado ZR2 with a factory 2" lift, 33" tires, and the infamous...

    Best Dash Cam

A 1-minute clip makes it easy to find things and a far smaller file to download. I prefer the smaller file sizes.

I can tell you that the Blackvue app is a fantastic app. It was fully overhauled a year ago and is second to none. Easy to use and zero bugs.

The A139 is a nice unit. I'm not a VIOFO fan because of the design and the connector placement. Have you looked at the Venture? I bought this one for my brother who drives for Lyft and it's very nice and economical...

    Best Dash Cam

I am not a fan of the DR590. How much do you want to spend? It's not only about cost, but what you are interested in. Low profile? Need a viewing screen or OK with downloading video from the camera to your phone? Lots of nice options and the newer VIOFO cameras are a great option.

Rain Sensing Wipers (Not equipped but have the part)

The rain sensing wipers are WAY over rated. I never used it since it's not very reliable IMPO.

Thoughts on Dealer Installed Michelins to replace stock 22" before shipping ?

I installed the Defender's on my truck and LOVE them. Excellent tires. If you are going for looks, the AT3 is a great tire, but it's much heavier and will not handle as well on main roads. I wasn't going for looks when I started shopping, but safety, ride quality and low noise. I also look for...

    AGM or Lead Acid Battery

To some, nothing. To me, it is the most highly rated and most reliable battery on the market. EnerSys/Northstar makes Odyssey and the X2. The same identical batteries coming out of the same factory. I had a long conversation about a year a go with a top EnerSys Northstar Engineer when I was...

    AGM or Lead Acid Battery

I sent that because I do not believe there is an H8 X2 available...only the one I sent above. I would have zero issues buying an H7 X2 battery.

    Oil Preference?

    Oil Preference?

If I lived in a cold climate, I would probably stick with the 5W20 in the cold months and switch in the warmer months. In warm climates, I don't think you would have any issues using a higher viscosity oil or ensuring proper lubrication. Not an oil engineer or an engine designer. The 0W20 - 5W20...

    Oil Preference?

I believe that the creation of 0W20 and 5W20 was solely for the purpose of manufacturers meeting more stringent mileage requirements. I also believe that it's not rocket science to come to that conclusion fairly easily based on past history.

    Oil Preference?

5W20 is all about economy and nothing about longevity. I totally agree with your assessment.
