Strange find with Waze on 12.1”

Yeah the green is WiFi Bluetooth, but I have nothing plugged into it on my module. The 8.4 didn’t have this, so the antenna isn’t in the truck. Wondering if I buy it and the cable if I would see any improvement. It does connect wirelessly without it though

Strange find with Waze on 12.1”

Does anyone know what the function of the green double port is actually for? I found a cable that could plug into it and the antenna that appears to go to it says ram 1500 instrument WiFi antenna. I’m just wondering since I don’t have it if I’m getting a poor connection to the system and that’s...

Strange find with Waze on 12.1”

I thought of that too, but the factory nav works fine regardless of the how the phone is connected, so I think the gps must be good. If the phone is connected wireless the nav apps on the phone won’t locate but if it’s connected with the wire it works perfectly. So it’s just the nav apps on the...

Strange find with Waze on 12.1”

So my truck had the 8.4” non nav an occasionally Waze would show me off the road, but would usually correct itself. It was pretty annoying but would still get me where I was going. I ended up swapping the 8.4” for the 12.1 in with nav. While most of the glitches are better, the Waze and maps...

Buying 1st truck - advice on bed length

I like the longer bed. I had a Chevy with a 6 foot bed, then a cord with a 5 1/2 foot and missed the longer bed big time. When I found this one on the dealer lot with the longer bed I knew it was the better choice for me.

    Key fob programming

Ma ke sure the working fob is not near the truck when trying to program the new fob, otherwise it may read the old fob and tell you it’s not blank

level it 2" in front or lift to 3.5 with struts and new A arms?

I did the m1 loaded struts(3.5”) with RC UCAs and a Motofab 2” spacer in the rear and m1 shocks. The UCAs have replaceable ball joints with zerks under the caps that hide them. Listen to what was said above. I had spacers up front to start. Rode terrible compared to what I have now and caused...

Funny thing, mine didn’t show up today….neither did my presets. When these things aren’t so glitchy I love it, just wish it would just be normal

    RF Hub Question

Has anyone found a way of programming a new rf hub ourselves with Alfa or jscan or something else.?The part isn’t that expensive and labor to replace it is straight forward, just the programming seems to be what’s causing the expense

RC 6" LIFT LOOKING FOR UCA ADVICE

Since you already have the RC lift, they do have RC upper control arms with serviceable ball joints for stock applications. I was told this would work with the 6” lift

    Door Assist Interior Lighting HELP

Depends on how much you want to spend, but you could buy an interface module that aftermarket alarms use. It would tie into the canbus wiring and provide a negative output when the doors are opened regardless of the dome light being on or off.

Sure every company builds things into the price. I’m just using those 2 as examples of companies that do their research and give something the customer desires and try to offer that rather than push ads. All manufacturers have their own issues, we can make quite a list of our own here. My point...

I think ram has lost focus on this for sure. Nobody like adds, especially when we already paid a fortune for these trucks. Spend the time on fixing known issues instead of adding nonsense. Ford and Subaru have an app that is given for free that locks/unlocks/remote starts for free, ram gives you...

    POS pedal commander

I was also considering myself one without issues, but like they say” it’s not an issue until it is an issue”. In this case I consider it way to dangerous to use because it can fail at anytime and leave you in a bad situation. I can only imagine if it was anyone else driving my truck what could...

    POS pedal commander

Well after all the warnings I’ve seen on here my pedal commander died on me in the worst situation. Driving on the highway in a construction zone during rush hour with no shoulder to stop on. Every light on the dash came on and I lost all throttle response. I didn’t know what was happening so I...

    Lifts Levels and MPG

I went with the v6 for mileage and cost of the truck. I then got the “itch” to make it look like a truck. I now get mid 16s for mpg, but at this point it’s worth it just for the look. Wish it was a hemi, but for what I use it for it works

Mine appeared the same time as this: kinda weird that I’m getting updates on the 12.1 that I put in in place of the original 8.4. The same day this happened I lost my performance and off road pages too.

    Rear shocks install

I just jacked up the rear from under the axle and then set the jackstands on the frame so the tires where just off the ground when I removed the jack. Swapping the shocks was simple other than the top bolt on the drivers side because there is less access around the filler neck. It took und wet...
