That really sucks, man. Hopefully you have them by the shorthairs. The first ding(s) are always the worst especially when this severe. Good luck.

Generally speaking, what is the model year production cycle for Ram?
After some research, it isn’t clear to me. I bought my 2020 Rebel on Oct 23. Door sticker says 8/2020 build date. The dealership had a few 2021 Rebels on the lot the day I bought mine.
Thinking Ram starts new model year...
At 5000 miles, I’m going to switch over to synthetic. What are you using? My dealership confirmed they’re using Pennzoil synthetic 5w-20 and they have a three synthetic oil changes, filter and tire rotation special for $159 for the 5.7.

How do you turn on the current gear indicator? I know how to turn on the Eco indicator. I have used the + and - rocker to range through the gears and that keeps it on but only until I manually turn it off or I turn the ignition off. It does not stay on all the time.

New record for me. Recent 292 mile round trip to the big city. Prairie and some mountain hills. 95 miles on the interstate at 80 mph the balance at mix 60/72 mph highway. Combined 16.4 mpg round trip. That’s according to the trip computer. Finding it’s a little generous by 3-4 mph. Still likely...
Maybe a necropost but...
2020 Rebel Granite Crystal purchased on Oct 23...
The durability of the paint and windshield on my new truck sucks. No other way to put it.
For transparency, I do live in snow country where gravel, salt and mag chloride are part of life on the roads...
But... the...
I have 100XR on order with a similar intended use. I’ll be curious to see how it works. The ARE I had on my F150 leaked dust horribly.

Bought my truck Oct 23. Currently 1,150 miles on the Odometer. 5.7L. I’ve filled the tank three times since the full tank at the dealership.
About 15.2 mpg average.
Mixed driving with a couple longer road trips with speeds at 80 on the interstate. Most recent fill up was Friday. My...
Where is ECO/MDS even discussed in the sh-tty Owners Manual?
I cannot find any reference to it in the 2020 Rebel manual other than how to turn the ECO light on or off...

Dang, that looks nice. I was on the fence with MS or Granite at the dealership. Exact same truck option wise. Ended up with Granite. All the pics and the day I bought the truck at the dealership the MS seemed more black with the overcast sky. Love the way yours looks in the light. That said, I’m...
Something like the Chevy/GMC Northsky Blue metallic. The current Rebel Maximum Steel is nice but just a little too black with not enough blue.

What are you all using to clean and treat the black plastic trim components like fender flares, mud guards, mirrors, grill?
Bought my 2020 Rebel brand new on Oct 23 and the black is already looking dingy.
I live in snow country so the truck gets road salts and that mag chloride sh-t on it. I...
I’ve never put this much thought into the flippin’ gas that goes into my truck but... next question, lower octane is generally not good due to knocking etc... can higher octane be an issue? I’ve read some sources saying, “whatever you do, don’t go higher than 89!”
I am just planning on 91...
Yeah, this day and age considering my job and desires for privacy, I’ll just say I’m located east of Washington state and Oregon, west of NoDAK, SoDak and Nebraska, and north of Nevada, Utah, and Colorado... how’s that? Lol.
My truck lives at 5,900-6,200 ft elevation for its daily life but we...
Thanks. Now that you say that, you might be right. Also just discovered a station in the town five miles from my little town has 88 non-ethanol as an option.
