Just had the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015s installed today on stock 22s in 285/45r22. Here are some pics just in case anyone wanted to see what they looked like. First pic is with the stock Goodyears for comparison. As you can see the Yokohamas aren't that aggressive, which I don't mind. Just...
Thanks. That's what I ended up doing. Decided to go with the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015s in 285/45r22. Same ratings at the stock Goodyears and only 3 lbs heavier and slightly less revolutions per mile, so hopefully it won't affect MPGs too much.
Thanks. So if they're both 114 XL tires, there should be no difference at 70-90mph? Or will an H rated tire handle and ride better than a T rated one at those speeds because it's traveling at a lower percentage of its max speed?
Hey everyone. Just wondering if going from H rated to T rated tires matters with our trucks? Stock Goodyears are H rated, but I found a decent deal on some T rated AT tires. Load ratings, size, and max psi are the same, with the AT tire being a bit heavier. I read that our trucks are rev limited...
Thanks Doc33. How is the road noise and ride compared to stock? How have they been in snow? I'm guessing narrower treads help with road noise so I guess stuck gravel is to be expected.
Thanks dwalme. Could the vibration be an alignment or balancing issue rather than the tires themselves? I...
I've been looking to replace my stock Goodyears with AT tires on my stock 22s. Similar criteria as the OP. Quiet and good on wet and dry pavement, but also decent in snow as well as sand and gravel. I plan to keep the stock tire size as I'm hoping to minimize MPG loss as well as any rubbing...
ECU tune will automatically fail smog if detected unless it's CARB approved or you return to stock first.

I believe it is based on driving 55 on the freeway. When I first got my truck, I stayed below 60 so I could get my system monitors ready for Commifornia's smog test. I drove about 100 miles with no traffic and the truck gauge showed I averaged 28.5 MPG with only myself in the truck. I'm on stock...
I have all three and if those are your options, I would pick the ASG over the RamBoxes and MFT. I live in Los Angeles and find the surround view camera a must for when you need to park as close to the curb as possible without scraping your rims or for making sure you're in between the lines in...
Costco and Fast Stop diesel are the only diesel fuels in the US that are Top Tier. Not sure if their additives help. We don't have Fast Stop here in Los Angeles and not every Costco has diesel. I get gas at both Shell and Costco, depending on how cheap I get Shell with their rewards points...
If you have the time, flying and driving is the most economical and fastest way to get your truck. Mark Dodge can't give you an exact shipping price or date until a transporter accepts the order through Central Dispatch. I waited 3 weeks before a transport company was willing to bring my truck...
I bought a truck they had on their lot towards the end of April and Mark Dodge's discount was $9,250 across all Limiteds before incentives and rebates, regardless of MSRP. Don't know what the discounts were on the other trim levels.
This is from the Commiefornia Bureau of Automotive Repair. Doesn't mention out-of-state vehicles requiring a biennial smog check. Just says that out-of-state vehicles need a smog check when registering in CA for the first time.
