Is there a setting or something to get the rearview mirror to dim at night? Mine has it (I am 99% sure) but the lights from cars behind me are very bright at night.
I got new tires last week, Cooper AT3 4S. They are awesome. The shop (Fleet Farm) did an alignment check and the toe was off quite a bit on both fronts. I had an alignment done at the dealer under warranty a month and a half ago, they didn't give me the spec sheet but said it was just on the...
Stop talking out of your p00per. Shortly after purchase I would have been down $2000+ based on trade and purchase of the new one. It wasn't until April that trade prices soared. But that is also when new prices rose. I got $4k more offered on trade on the Limited and a price of invoice -...
You have your opinion and I have mine. The OP asked for opinions and in a post below you essentially told him to ignore opinions that are not yours.
And I did try to trade a month after but couldn't justify the $2000+ hit. Then in spring ordered a non eT Limited but didn't take delivery in...
The second number is the oil weight when hot. 30 is thicker. Spec on the engine is 20, probably because it gets around 0.1 mpg better for CAFE testing. Either will be fine in that engine in NY, but you may want to use 5w20 until the warranty is up.
I have the eT and would prefer to not have it. Don't like how it has the same feeling as engine braking when slowing down (does this to recharge the 48v battery). The shifting is slightly smoother and I don't mind this implementation of start stop. I will probably get a 2024 model without it.
I use the least expensive full synthetic I can find. Currently that is Havoline, but next change will be Pennzoil Platinum. I never pay over $3 per quart after rebate (the PP was $2).
Built a 2022 on the Ram site and at the end it offered me a $1500 certificate on 2021 models. Just thought I would share if anyone looking to buy wants to try.
Filled up with 89 no ethanol before a trip from Oshkosh WI to Eagle River WI last weekend. Reset mpg.
About 160 miles one way is my guess. Mostly 55 mph hwy, about 30 miles of 65. I pretty much went the speed limit. Some elevation change but nothing major. A few towns of 25 to 45 mph...
Get a Rebel, it is a much better fit for how you want to use the truck. 1" lift, heavy duty shocks, no air suspension which could be fragile offroading, 17" offroad tires with a nice thick sidewall.
3.21 gears are fine for your use and you will save 2-3 mpg hwy, though I am not sure if you can...
