Just wondering how much/how little folks on this forum drive their Rams. My goal is to keep my 2019 Bighorn til the wheels fall off. I only drive 10k-11k/ year... Just passed 34k miles and she’s running great! October 2019 purchased brand new. Factory B2B about to run out, soon the Mopar ESP...
You’ll get tons of different opinions here, all good. I went with the factory Mopar matte black running boards and the factory Mopar soft roll up tonneau cover. Did not want a hard shell trifold as that limits rear visibility when it’s folded up. The soft roll up is perfect for me, but I also...
To be fair I got it right before the truck hit 24000. So maybe that’s why the price was a bit lower. There are price increases every 12k miles at 12000, 24000 and 36000. So I made sure I bought it before the price bumped up at 24k.
Well done. Ziegler rocks. Got my 8/85/200 for almost the same price ($1375) except I was around 24,000 miles. it was quoted at $1475 I believe, so I called to see if they would lower it.. they did. Always worth a phone call.
Every 5000 miles for me.. mostly city driving and I don’t drive it hard. But I want to keep this truck a long time, so…. figured the earlier and more often I change it the better.
Best looking truck IMO, best interior, best pricing (at least in 2019 when I bought mine - $15k under MSRP.) Always been a Ram fan ever since I started watching Walker, Texas Ranger and Chuck Norris’s decked out Ram.
Been super happy with my 2019 Bighorn, just a couple of minor issues that were...
I just switched out my Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs (OEM tires on the Rebel) for Wrangler Adventure with Kevlar. I loved how aggressive they made my truck look, but to be honest The Duratracs got too loud as they wore down… and I don’t off road at all. The Adventures deliver great snow/rain...
There seems to be some confusion on whether the LED headlight/taillight assemblies are covered. These are not cheap (~$900 or so). When I bought the extended warranty I specifically asked the Ziegler folks about those and the official answer was “yes, they’re covered.” FWIW
I’ve never gotten an extended warranty until this truck, just based on other folks experiences. After a bit of back & forth (be quiet @GregHBNA 😎) I purchased an 8 year/85000/200 deductible from Ziegler for $1385 and couldn’t be happier. Truck is still under factory 3/36 (it’s a 2019 right at...
I just called my dealer regarding the TSB. Quote, “we won’t be able to do the TSB until we verify that A/C output really isn’t cold enough”, which won’t be until it gets warmer. Guess I’ll find out this summer
The halogens work fine… as long as you don’t pull up next to an LED equipped one. The comparison is pretty drastic.
(Spoken from having owned a 2017 with halogens, drove me crazy any time I’d pull up next to an LED one) 😉
Reading threads like these makes me damn glad I got a mid 2019 model that just has a good old straight V8 with no etorque and start/stop. I’m sure the ET and AS/S has a 1 or 2mpg advantage but I’ll gladly sacrifice that for an old school V8!
Awesome truck! Chip shortage is to blame for no more LEDs on BHs. In fact I started a thread yesterday where I posted a pic of a brand new 2022 Laramie for sale that also didn’t have the LED headlights, that was a first for me. Sucks.
No clue about the poor MPGs but maybe due to the lift?
