Yeah Ram lost but not by much when you factor in Ram is down on power and a heavier truck I’d say the Ram held its own. On the streets it’s more of a drivers race who can get the better launch. Also if you check the description on the video both f150s had the 10 speed transmission. Ram 1500...
Not sure if you’ve done an oil change yet but I’m using Rotella Gas Truck full synthetic and a Fram ultra synthetic filter and my truck is very silent. I also do oil changes every 5-6k miles and change the filter at every oil change.
I removed my active air dam actuator and valance about a month ago. Looks way better! But what shocked me was that my coolant temp is now consistently at 201 (low 200s in general) even idling on a hot 95 degree day. When I had the valance and active air dam my coolant temp would run up to 220...
This has nothing to do with the Hemi tick. This is a loud intermittent metal on metal clank (smack) sound upon start up we are experiencing. 16k+ miles clank still present.
Bilstein offers 1 inch rear lift shocks. So if you wanted your truck level you add the rear shock with no spacer because readylift 3.5 sst still has rake correct? If you want to keep the rake you can just add a 1 inch motofab rear spacer to the bilstein 1 inch rear lift shock
I’m thinking of going a similar route but I want a 3.5 inch lift all around like the readylift 3.5 sst but with bilsteins. Thinking of doing bilstein 5100 in the front at setting #5 or so combined with a Motofab 2inch top hat spacer and RC forged aluminum upper control arms. Then in the rear no...
My 19 Ram 1500 crew cab does 12mpg city and 17 hwy cruising at 75 mph. 5.7 Hemi, non etorque, 3.92, anti spin and 4x4. Not the greatest mpg but the Hemi and 8 speed are well worth it. Definitely has more grunt than the 5.3L
Does anyone think the clunk on start up might be the transmission park pawl? I had a weird issue about a month ago. I backed up into my driveway, the truck sat there for a while then I came back out to drive the truck. I put the truck in Drive and nothing!! It was stuck, I checked the e brake to...
At this time I am not willing to take it in to the dealership until something either breaks or someone figures out the cause of the issue. Last thing I want to do is waste my time so the dealer can turn around and say they couldn’t replicate the issue.
I’ve had the clunk at start up since I bought my 19 Ram 1500. I got 11k+ miles and clunk it still present. Usually only does it when I start the truck with the push button start while holding down the brake pedal. I don’t think I’ve ever heard it make the clunk with remote start.
