i agree with the not used a 3/4 ton truck statement. i also agree with todays 1500 is equal to a 3/4 ton from the 90's.
if you have the tong weight right with trailer brakes and a controller you could push it over rated weight. that tow weight is a conservative estimate to keep liability off...
they blow up because of quality control, not emission controls.
funny to me some guy's say the 5.7/6.2 hemi is old but really it's not. some of those same guy's probably think a 1911 is the best gun ever and they are over 100 years old, glocks are almost 50. my point is sometimes a mechanical...
thank you jhdiehl6 great info here, i was about to do something similar and was going down the add option road on my Big Horn. for $2100 i found Laramie GT seats and console with the floor shifter(i hate the rotary) but instead for 5000 dollars i got - 12in 9 speaker alpine, heated and cooled...

the oil pump is actually not that hard of a job totally doable for me. in the right application the penstar 3.6 is a good motor IMO it's like the LS of V6's.
glad to see your planning on keeping it long-term. you do have a ET truck so luck plays a HUGE part LOL i totally agree.
i would love a PPE but budget wise it don't make sense for me at this time i need to do a service but can't really afford double the cost to do it.
it's sweet. if your a...
it's whatever, ram claims they couldn't get the emissions down on the hemi so they developed the hurricane. yet gm can somehow continue to make the 5.3 and the 6.2 pass.....Stellantis killed the hemi because they could i want to say it was the only v8 any company they own had. oh yeah do own...
Australia had a slant 6 hemi 6 pack . i saw it in a issue of mopar muscle back in the mid 80's and with the magic of the internet it's gotten to be known. the storm before hurricane lol. i actually think they would have sold well here so would the brazilan charger. i'll keep my V8 thank you
gm was onto something in the 90's when they had black covers that screwed on the lugs. they were plastic and from time to time fell off it not put on tight.
my 2020 BH with a 2019 build date gave up right at 5 years old. replaced it with a Walmart ever start platinum agm. i traded the BH in on a Laramie 6 months later and kept/swapped in my new battery at the dealer while they got the paperwork ready......
