I did not. In my mind it was too risky driving it 4hrs with no guarantee what they would actually give me. Put too much negotiating power in their hands for the trade for me to be comfortable doing it.

I just dropped off a car to GiveMeTheVIN, give them a try. Buying the car for what I paid for it 1.5yrs ago. $7k more than what Koons offered me. Not sure how they're making any money but works for me!

Got the email that I've been shipped to the dealer. ETA also moved forward 10 days to 4/4. How long did everyone take to ship? I am going to Koons in VA.

I also am not a black appointments guy either, but that sport hood is hot! They should have that as a separate option on the limited.

This guy's is a Limited, hence my question. I didn't know you could get the sport hood on a limited.

My dad took delivery of a factory order 2500 Limited recently and it has this option. It's on the rear end to the left of the license plate. Small proprietary looking plug. It's hard to imagine it couldn't be added after the fact. I am now curious to trace the wiring and see where it leads.

Why not just do a factory order for exactly what you want for a good price? The '23 Laramie you're looking at is a terrible deal. No way I would do that unless I was in some sort of emergency situation.

Well I screwed up on my Limited factory order and selected the power folding trailer tow mirrors by mistake thinking I needed to select that option to get power folding mirrors. Dealer was no help and said I couldn't change it even though I had only confirmed my order 1 business day prior...

Have they fixed this issue for new units leaving the factory?

Well, submitted my second Ram factory order today - a '23 Limited from Koons. My '19 1500 was a lemon but I've had 2 Rams since with good luck so hoping for a good one especially now these are 5 years old. Now the wait begins!
