Any of you also have a HD 2500/3500?

Getting ready to (I think) do a factory order on a '23 limited. I have a '22 HD Cummins I got as a tow rig but wanting to replace my daily driver and thinking the truck utility would be nice in a more daily friendly package or towing smaller stuff. Curious if anyone else has a HD truck also and how you like the 1500 as a daily driver.

I have a 2015 3500 Cummins for heavy pulling, a 5th-wheel RV, and a 16-foot dump trailer. I had a 2013 RAM 1500 that I recently replaced with a 2022 RAM 1500 ED. As a daily driver and a vehicle to pull around my fishing boat, I love it. My wife and I recently took a 3,000-mile trip in it and found it easy to drive and very comfortable even after six hours of driving.

I have a 06 2500 Cummins and I will always keep it due to 5.9L and manual trans. (hard to find that are not trashed). I got the truck from a family member. I really don’t recommend a 2500 because not enough payload but it nice for getting my redneck on.

I sold my 3500 several years ago because of the CP4 and bought a 1500 in the mean time (actually 2 of them). I though I would use the 1500 for a daily driver till I figured out what I wanted to replace the 3500.
I have to say, I have really enjoyed daily driving the 1500. Very fast, comfortable, and maneuverable. Much more than the HDs. I’m always probably going to keep a 1500 for most of my daily driving and weekend warrior stuff.

I will say that I have hauled and towed probably more than I should with the 1500s and hate how it feels. I can’t wait to get a 3500 to haul and tow because I hate white knuckle driving.
But highly recommend a 1500 for daily driving.

I don't, but my buddy recently upgraded from a 1500 to a 2500 with the 6.4L as his daily. I've driven it a few times. Having not driven a 3/4 ton or larger, since we sold our '87 K20 I was impressed with its handling and comfort. The K20 was my wife's daily for a year. She loved it. It was an old fire truck.

My buddy loves his Ram 2500 . He pu'll a 26' camper and just enjoys the extra payload and better towing. I could easily live with it on a daily basis, but I would prefer the new Rebel 2500.

Do it, your butt and right foot will like it.
Plus, it’s fun to argue axle ratios.

I sometimes have my mother n laws 2014 2500 Crew 4x4 Cummins and it is very impressive on comfort, that said it still is quite a beast to park and MPG is not great.

Of her or the truck? :ROFLMAO:

She is something, its pretty fun to watch her show all the old men how to back up a 40' 5th wheel. She used to be a truck driver so she has her Class A license and many years of experience.

It was pretty funny when she went to the dealership, she point blank told the sales guy, I want Diesel 4x4 with a "jake" brake, the guy looked at her like she was from Mars:ROFLMAO:
