Going to DIY ceramic coat soon

Im going to do apply a ceramic coat myself when the weather warms up a bit. I know prep is key, and figure itll take a weekend to do correctly in my garage. I want to make sure Ive got the steps down correctly, along with the required materials. Here's the process as I see it now, let me know...

Hows everyone running there 1/0 cable?

In my 3rd and 4th gens, there was a plastic plate in the firewall behind the battery. Clutch plate delete? not sure, but i think 5th gens have the same.

Jeep Quadra Drive II vs RAM "4wd Auto"

Assuming you put decent tires (ie. not the stock crap), the 4WD auto works great!

    2020 ram wobble

I was unaware of a wobble on the 5th gens. Does yours have the air suspension?

    Mutli-function tailgate survey

I didnt initially like the look of the "butt crack" on the tailgate, and honestly would have ordered it without. After a few weeks of ownership, I came to really appreciate it and would happily order one on my next truck. only issue i have (sounds like others too) is you have to slam it pretty...

    Night edition rims

If you're looking for the 22" rims, keep an eye out on classifieds. Lots of people selling them to step down to the 20" as the 20" has more tire options. I might snag myself a second set of 22s for winter tires.

Anyone have an oem truck ?

Mine is 100% how i bought it in October. Ill likely add MLV and some other sound proofing to the doors/cab in the near future (and better tires).

Sad how few tire size choices there are for 22" rims

Im thinking of hanging on to these tires till next fall. If there's more options, ill be ecstatic!

Sad how few tire size choices there are for 22" rims

The stock tires on these 5th gens seem sad; they dont look proportional to the wheel well/truck. Im looking to get larger tires (ones that do well in Denver weather) but are severely limited on anything in a 22" rim size. Im contemplating buying aftermarket 20" rims to gain more options. Sad...

Remove Door carrier plate for Dynamat

Does the inner door skin (plastic) come off with the 11 or 12 bolts? Id like to put dynamat on the inside (technically the outer metal door) and mass loaded vinyl between the inner door panels.

Loving the Ram in the snow here in Northern Colorado..

I've got to make a 10 mile round trip in about 2 hours. Excited to see how she handles in this Denver snow storm!

22" tires any good in snow?

I tried mine in a snow storm we had last month (Denver area). They were ok at best. ill use them through this winter, then get rid of em.

Backup camera & surround camera separate?

When i go into reverse, I can either have the backup screen (which takes up half of the 12" screen) or a smaller version of the backup and surround (taking up the upper portion of the screen). is there a way to have the backup camera on the top half and the surround cameras on the bottom? Im...

Anyone install a JL 13TW5 (slim) subwoofer behind rear seats?

Has anyone install a JL 13TW5 (slim) subwoofer behind rear seats in a 5th gen Ram? Theyre very shallow <3" and could fit where the factory HK factory sub goes. Im not in a rush to redo my audio, probably at least a year out but am curious. Im selling my pair of JL 10W6V3s as I dont want to...

Largest (tallest) tire on 2020 limited 22" rims (with air suspension)

Do we think we're a year out from new sizes? 22"s are becoming more standard now; seems the manufacturers would want to jump on the bandwagon.

Largest (tallest) tire on 2020 limited 22" rims (with air suspension)

This kinda feels a little silly. I want a tire thats x taller than i have and x wider. should be simple but the truth is far from it. I think we can fit 34" tall tires without much modifications. Seems to be so few options.
