That's literally the meaning of legal.

Look, I'm done arguing with you on this. I apologize to the rest of the forum for getting into the weeds once again with you.
Excellent question. That’s something I’ve wondered for a long time. I’ve seen people go so far as to video every oil change to document it. I keep receipts and document the mileage and date the oil changes were performed. I have no idea if that’s enough proof, as they could potentially argue...
I don't doubt that happened. The owner's manuals for the two Subaru's I've owned stated that 1 qt every 1000 miles is acceptable. But what does that have to do with oil change intervals? And you didn't address the legal aspect. You said there is a tolerance that they have to allow. Where is...
Legally? "Pretty much have to allow" and "acceptable" doesn't protect you. Please tell us where this law is written, and for which state/states it applies. The point is they can deny coverage if you exceed the maintenance interval by even a single mile or a single day. It's not worth taking...
It would be simple to prove the mileage between recorded oil changes. Undocumented oil changes don’t count as far as the dealership and Stellantis are concerned. Honestly I don’t see the problem with the dealership telling him that. It would be negligent of them not to say anything in a case...
His personality aside, he's right. Stellantis can and likely will deny coverage if you exceed the recommended intervals for service, even by as little as 35 miles. They are in business to make money not be your friend.
Thanks for then pic. Truck looks great. I love the stormtrooper look.
Couple things here…first, your truck looks clean in that pic. Second, trucks are meant to be dirty ;)
That's just Ram/Stellantis playing games with the name. When it debuted, the Longhorn was called "Laramie Longhorn". Likely to associate the new model with the highest available trim level at that time. A couple years ago they decided to rename it "Limited Longhorn". This has caused some...
I'm not sure Uconnect5 was an upgrade based on some of the complaints I've read lol. I've been very happy with the 12 inch screen and UC4 in our 2020 Limited. But then again I don't have a need for wireless CarPlay. 🤷♂️
There are too many variables to say which years are the best. Knowing your engine preferences would help with answering this though. Since I want a V8 and am not a fan of etorque, if I were looking for a used 5th gen my vote would be 2020 thru 2022 hemi, since starting in '23 all 1500's with...
As already mentioned, it's not a sticker. It's was applied by the factory that makes the OEM windshields. If you buy a non-OEM windshield, it will not come with the Ram's head logo.
What time of year was it when you tried the permatex flowable silicone?
I've read that Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure is another alternative. Might be worth a try...
