I received my OPT7 60" light bar today and I have the Curt 56584 wiring harness. To get the bullet connector for the white wire to the 5 pin harness do I cut up the harness that came with the light bar shown in the photo? Should I just cut up that black plastic and and get that bullet connector...
I'm actually looking for a tablet so i can download the alphaobd software on it. I was thinking Android but now maybe i should get a windows? lol. What's everyone else using?
Looks like this module fits 2019-2020 years. What year is your truck?
Also, I think this module is for the smaller screen and not the 12". I could be wrong if anyone else can confirm.
In following this thread, i was thinking maybe the module is not for his truck. I think the OP mentioned the part number was scratched off so we don't know which module it is. We know the 2021 year works on a different module then the 2019-2020. Might be the issue. Just my 2 cents.
On my truck i have this wire on a plate (assuming it's the rear back up camera wire) right in the middle and 2 bumps towards the left and right ends. See pictures, how did you go about installing the light with those in the way??
Thanks
Okay thanks. Yea it's pricey for sure lol. I'm trying to find one at a decent price. I might have to wait until prices come down some since they are new. Would be nice to just get the complete system from someone but the 2021 module is harder come by at this time it seems. Good luck installing...
