Change in plans, to remove the flex in the 1/4" shelf/divider I just glued 1"x4" blocks to the side wall of the Rambox mid span to provide support to the shelf. I just made the blocks out of the scraps from the 1/4" HDPE panel I purchased. I used Loctite plastic glue and applicator shown in...
Also I recommend making cardboard cut out templates for your application before you make your final product. These fit my boxes fairly tight, but due to these boxes are plastic yours maybe slightly different in size. Also drill about a 1" hole about 2" from the rear end to utilize as a finger...
I have placed on this post the PDF for the templates I made to make the rear horizontal dividers for the 2019 Rambox. As stated on the template they will not fit on a 11x17 sheet of paper, did not want to mess with shrinking due to different copiers and inherent errors. Just add the...
Called my dealer this morning, gave them the part numbers, they commented they were keeping these in stock in 2018 because trucks were showing up without them installed. They are ordering some today and will be shipping me a set at no cost once they arrive. Hopefully corporate offices don't...
Thanks for the templates for the vertical dividers. Will make my own tonight....being a woodworker should be easy! Also will attempt to make the horizontal ones. If I get a prototype that fits well I'll try to post a template if you would like one.
I just purchased a 2019 Rebel with the Rambox option and the BUG. It did come with the divider/extender but when I went to use the extender on the bed with the tailgate down there were no round pins or T-handle on the bed side to attach the extender to the bed sides of the truck. Called the...
When I get the parts, which may take 3-5 weeks, I'll try to post a picture or two once completed. I'm expecting I may have to cut some openings in the front skid plate but I hope not too large.
If anyone is looking for a mount for a 4th gen let me know...have one in good shape, only 2 years old. Also have a wiring kit for 2011 with halogen lights that I won't need any more. Have all the instructions and included hardware.
Thanks for the pictures. I actually have a 2019 Rebel so my front end is a little different with the skid plate I think. I did the same thing you did on my 4th gen, just removed the plastic air dam. Have the lighting wiring kit already. Waiting for the frame mount yet. Hope the wiring kit...
Also is there a winch you would recommend with your mounting system? Such as easiest install and wiring to the truck? The one you used in your demo looked nice. I don't have a winch I'm open to any model for ease of installation and operation. Thanks.
Do you know if your mount could be used in conjunction with the mounting brackets used for a Western Plow mount? Moving one from a 4th Gen 1500. Figured when I have the front end apart for mounting the plow I would do this upgrade at the same time.
Could you take a picture of how the mounts came through the front skirting below the bumper? Just wondering how large of an area I may have to cut out. Looking to move a Western plow from a 4th generation to a 5th generation. I have had this one installed on the 4th gen for two years with no...
