I have the 2.5s up front and 2.0s on the rear. It was pretty expensive but well worth it IMO. I did the conversion from stock at the same time as I did the wheels and tires so it’s hard to review exactly how the coilovers and shocks made a difference on road. But off road is where they really...
Yeah I know that, but if it’s in the signature, then you can just see it right there. Just tying to make this a little more interactive and fun. I don’t care to dig into people’s profiles to see where they are 😁
Yeah for sure I guess it’s just a leap of faith when you make the commitment on an upgrade. No test drives! But to answer your question the suspension in my opinion is so much better than stock. I love going off road now and the suspension handles everything with ease. I put a leveling kit on my...
Hi all. As I’m reading threads I’m thinking it would be a nice addition to include in your signature where you are located. So many times the first question on the forum is “well it depends, where are you located?” Plus it’s fun to see who’s interacting where they are in our great country. Just...
Yeah, I feel like you’re doing it backwards hence the lack of reasonable answers. You’re trying to thread the needle with the first fitment. I’m sure your truck will look awesome when the final lift and appropriate wheel/tire combo is installed. Good luck!
For those who have it, does anyone else just hate this thing? It’s so finicky and unreliable. Half the time it doesn’t connect. Maybe I’m missing something. I’ve resorted back to plugging in my phone, which is just fine. First world problems.
You will definitely notice a difference in ride quality, although going down to an 18 will give you more tire which will help. Don’t underestimate those KO2’s in snow. I live in snow country and used them year round on my last 5th gen, as well as my previous truck. I commute 55 miles round trip...
Yeah that’s not right. But my fog lights are always on with my headlights, with the exception of DRL’s during the day. I just leave them on in auto and they turn on when necessary. Great setup. But if you don’t want yours on and can’t get them to turn off, back to the dealer it goes I suppose...
Nay on etorque. I wouldn’t get it again. The stop/start is pretty seamless but unnecessary. Not sure what the benefit is and really hope I don’t have any issues with it down the road.
Props on the 98 Landcruiser. So solid! We sold our 99 cruiser and bought my wife a new 4Runner. Not apples to apples, but in my opinion it’s inferior to my 5th gen Ram all around, especially the interior. Curious what the new Tundra will be like but 99% sure I won’t be swayed.
