Cannot get back in to the original installer for another week. That will be a month without my truck in the middle of an already epic winter up here in the Northwest. No fix in sight yet. Good times.
Loose CV axle according to do the dealer. Of course they are blaming it on the shop who installed my Fox coilovers. Dealer is quoting me $880 not covered under warranty. So back to the installer I go.
New one for me. Lots of snow on the ground lately. A few days ago I put the truck in 4WD High and it engaged fine, I think. Hit my first stop sign, turned right, and the front end lurched and clunked repeatedly until 4WD disengaged. Now it’s doing it every time. The odd thing there is no warning...
The ORG springs are 1” taller but do not handle weight any better. I swear you throw one sandbag in the bed and you can see it sag. Ok I might be a little dramatic, but the springs make for a nicer ride but are certainly not leaf springs for carrying weight. I’d still look at bags. They’re going...
That’s a relief! Still good a few weeks later? Hopefully you’ve been able to enjoy your new truck and not have to worry about a factory oversight every day.
Ah yes ok that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying. Big difference there. Then it was the extended shock that made my ride harsh and not not the compressed spring. It’s been a few years!
