Hey I think I have narrowed it down to basically 2 rims Sledge & Vapor, I am having a hard time deciding between the 2 and the finishes. If I go with the Sledge I am ore leaning towards the Matte Black with Gloss Black Lip (D596 model) but the Gloss Black & Milled (D595) looks pretty good too lol.. Then there is the Vapour which is another nice looking one. I am leaning more towards the Black with DDT (D569) for the contrast over the Matte Black (D560) although I would say from pictures they are Satin Black not Matte Black. I like the Sledge because of the lip I would get, it wouldn’t be as deep as some other models as I am going with a 20x9 1mm Offset. The Vapor looks good with deep spokes.

I though the Blue Contra (D644) peaked by interested, but only because it’s blue and would match my truck and was the only rim blue that I liked from them. I’m not sure about having colour matched tho and if I ever sell them I would have limited market to sell back too.

My more towards A and C

Anyhow what do you guys think?

Had something similar on my Gen 4. The only negative I found with matte or satin black is that if you attempt to buff or polish any superficial scratches, the area turns glossy... just be aware. Otherwise, great wheels (y)

what size were these rims in the picture?

Hold your hand over the pics of all of thw wheels, look at your hand, then pull it away and note what your eyes were instantly drawn to before you started thinking about it. I feel that guttural reactions should make the decisions for you in these types of cases. After all, you have to live with this decision, not us.

Btw, I’m the one that voted for the blue contras because they draw my eye and elicit emotion before I start analyzing and overthinking all the choices.

When I ordered rims, looks were important, but also as important to me was ease of cleaning .

I also voted blue contra - I have a HydroBlue on the way and agree with DJ above - for me, the blue contra is the most unique and has a certain "pop". They are pricey though, so honestly I'm more likely to just order take-offs in gloss black when my truck shows up.

Just installed today and going to try them out. Fuel Assault 18 x 9 with 12 offset. 275/70/18 KO2's. I haven't bought after market wheels in over 20 years. I know at one time the quality wasn't there, but I have read the Fuel wheels are pretty good. I have my Rebel wheels on standby in the event I don't like them.
