I was reimbursed for the interest and aftermarket mods. My mileage offset for depreciation was $179.. The 179 is based on when my first service appointment for the issue was, which was around 700 miles. The offset and pro rata of my lifetime warranty were my only losses of the process.
I was very...
After 5 years of producing this body style, this problem should not even exist anymore. Then add the wind noise issues with recirc mode mentioned in a recengt thread on top of this. Meanwhile, my '16 Big Horn with only 62K miles is giving me a lot of trouble free miles. I have a Max Care...
I sure wish they would offer a power passenger seat as an option on the Big Horn. I'd pay up to 1000 for that option. All of the manufacturers force you to go to a leather option to get a power passenger seat. I really prefer cloth seats.
On the US Ram site, they show the Laramie with fender flares. However the downloadable catalog shows them as only being standard on the Rebel, Limited, and Limited Longhorn.
They should make the flares available as an option if they don't want to make them standard on the Laramie. Prices keep...
The Rebel is really the only front end look I like.
The Sport or Blackout packages mute all that is wrong with the front.
They could fix the front without changing any sheet metal other than the hood and grill.
For what they charge for these trucks and the profits they make, fixing the front...
I sure hope the front gets a major redo. Get rid of the brow and kill the hood badges. With the Classic almost done, they need to give the front a meaner look than the current generic front.
My preference would be the 4th gen exterior with the 5th gen interior. 4th gen is much more distinctive. You could tell what it was from a long distance. The 5th gen, especially the blackout versions are hard to identify without being close to it. Ram had a brand identity for 25 years with the...
These things should be standard equipment like they were on the 4th gen Rams. Just another money grab making them an option. Charging extra for colors other than black or white is another rip off.
Delmonico Red is an extra $100 on the Ram. On the Charger Octane Red, same color different name, is $395. There is less paint used on the car yet it is 300 more. No sense to the pricing. When I leased my '19 Charger there was no extra charge for Octane Red or most colors.
I was looking at the Build and Price along with the NADA pricing site. The Big Horn Sport package is not shown as an option on either site. NADA says it was discontinued 10/6. The Sport pak is still available on the Laramie but that vehicle is 1000's more.
This can't be chip related. It seems...
It is incredible that they charge more for painted trim than chrome. When I replaced the chrome letters and badges on my '16 Big Horn with black, every piece was much cheaper than the chrome equivalent.
Two reasons I would never buy a Limited, air suspension and power side steps.
However, if I owned a Limited I would either replace them with fixed boards or when they are deployed, pull the power to them so they stay deployed.
